The gang get together and discuss what happened to them through the New Year's holidays.

This week sees the 4th Rendezvous Game take place.

This episode is based off a segment of the 2016 No Laughing Game, when actor Saito Takumi did a now infamous imitation of comedian Sunshine Ikezaki and his routine. Now several lesser known celebrities attempt to replicate Saito's success by doing their own impressions. Guests include the actual Sunshine Ikezaki, film critic Arimura Kon, former boxing champion Kameda Daiki, singer and actor JOY and regular variety staple Bobby Ologun.

The Item series makes its first appearance for 2017, with the guest this week being Matsushima Nahomi, veteran comedian formerly of the duo Othello, now having gone solo for a few years.

#1361 - No-Reaction Challenge (Part 1)

Who is the man who doesn't move anything !?

The members are worried about Tanaka, who unfortunately became a single father about four months ago. That's why they took among themselves to present him some new candidates for a new wife. Tanaka is perplexed by this project, but they members will introduce the candidates and are saying 'If it's a woman like this, it'll be fine.' They will also show some footage from interviews with the candidates and the marriage talks. The candidates will also be shocked by the sudden marriage requests, but will it actually come to a new marriage due to Tanaka's charms?

This week's Gaki No Tsukai is "Appreciating 'Busjack Returns'". Some years ago Endo starred in the movie 'Busjack'. Since people who've watched the movie were shocked by Endo's horrible acting, it became a subject on the show. The movie's sequel "Busjack Returns" was released in theaters this July. The members talked about the possibility of Downtown appearing in the movie, as well as how few people showed up to the premiere. Now, all the members will watch the movie together! Is Endo's acting power still going strong? For each of Endo's scenes, they will react by pressing a button.

This week's Gaki No Tsukai is "Matsumoto's 54th birthday party! Let's give him a birthday song!". The members as as well a secret guest will create a song by themselves based on what they feel about Matsumoto and sing it from their heart. What kind of song will Cocorico, Hosei and Hamada sing? And who will the unlikely secret guest be? And what will Matsumoto's reaction to the song be? The members will also tell some exciting memories from this 28 year-old show. Don't miss this chance to see the bond between the members.

"Legendary" comedians will be asked questions, they absolutely have to answer, whether they'd like to or not.

This week's Gaki No Tsukai is another luxury treat! A full episode of Downtown talk. Matsumoto will talk about several worries concerning his physique. He also gets fired up about a certain unfair treatment by his wife in a certain 'location' as well as a certain grief resulting from getting older. Hamada will also talk about the curious circumstances when he got booked for the famous "Kouhaku" program. Also, the show staff have secretly planned a move against Hamada that results in an interesting story. What will happen in the end? Finally, the two will clash in an argument about each other's show business reputation!

This week's Gaki no Tsukai is "Let's Ask the Best 5 in a Strange Town!" All 5 members ask local residents in a strange town for a recommended place to visit. Based on their recommendation, our members then go to those 5 best places.

In this week's Gaki No Tsukai, all five members gather to talk about the recording of the Batsu Game shooting that ended just days ago. Also this year, the member's complaints about the harsh conditions of the condition have no end! Matsumoto talks about his state of mind when he leaves in the morning to go to the shooting, and also gets angry about the batsu judgement. Moreover, some statistics about the past batsu games will be revealed. The unknown story about the origin of the Thai Kick will also be revealed.

In this week's Gaki, the members participate in an interesting food battle. Each members gets allotted some ingredient from the refrigerator and have to come up with some kind of recipe on the spot. The refrigerator contains beef, chicken, pork, fish, but also other stuff the members have never used before. What will Housei's unusual dish taste like? Endo does an unbelievable mistake and Hamada uses a really strange technique. What will the final result be like?

As for the last 20 years, the prior manager of Downtown, Fujiwara, will present the ten best moments of Gaki of 2017.

This week is the 100 Questions segment and the guest for this week is actor Saito Takumi, who made his big break a couple of years ago and is now starring in the new drama airing before Gaki no Tsukai this week.

We finish off last week's 100 Questions segment with Saito Takumi and as always there is a reward from the guest at the end for the victor.

The annual New Year's Party episode is up, as well as the annual Yama-1 Grand Prix, the 10th edition this year. Who will impress the most?

The first Costume Talk for the year features the gang discussing their families' reactions while they watched the recent No Laughing special together, some apparent fortunetelling predicting many things for the gang in 2016, including that Hosei will return to competing in 'that famous battle' and a discussion on the future of Hamada Bamyu Bamyu.

The third in the 24 hour long interview series (previously done by Hosei and Drunk Dragon's Suzuki), this week features one of the favorites of Gaki and former cast member Jimmy Onishi. Always a staple of the No Laughing series, Jimmy has been making more frequent appearances on regular TV, including a guest spot on Suiyoubi no Downtown last year. Having graduated from the show in February of 1996 to pursue his painting career, this marks the first time in 20 years since he last appeared on a weekly episode of the show.

Continuing on from last week, we see the second half of Jimmy Onishi's 24 hour interview.

Endo's Mori Shinichi character makes a return, this time being the big act at a hotel's dinner show the others are 'invited to'.

This week features no new content; instead the staff are throwing together a 'best of' package of the Strolling to Meet Celebs series.

The 'I Think You Like This Item' series makes its first appearance for 2016. The guest this week is Nakamura Tamao, a veteran actress who mostly interacts with Downtown through their Downtown DX show, where she is often teased for telling ridiculously long stories about her personal life.

This week involves the guys trying to come up with their own renditions of traditional Japanese dancing, despite not having experience in it. They will have to do their own makeup and learn the choreography by themselves.

The 'battle' between these two producers is the theme of this week's episode. As was the case with the previous two installments, the duo compete in random contests and the members act as judges.

The guys dress up as famous singers and 'sing'/lip sync some of their most known songs.

This week the guys split off to various places around Tokyo without their phones. All five members are shown a theme and are challenged to think about what place or object they would associate with that theme. They must then be able to meet up with the other members of the gang at the same places. Until all five are together at the same place, the challenge does not end.

Continuation from last week's episode, where we finish up the challenge with the gang.

A concept proposed by Tanaka for this week's episode. Each member draws two cards randomly from a batch that has a word on it each (for example, maybe a story involving the word 'ghoul' and 'faceless') and from there, they must improvise a scary ghost story using those two words as the theme/basis.

A return of the Kartua competition for this week, with the guest being writer/author Hada Keisuke, who won the prestigious Akutagawa Prize for rookie writers together with comedian Matayoshi Naoki of the duo Peace.

We have a special episode to commemorate Hamada's 53rd birthday party with a twist. Keen observers of Gaki will note that Hamada tends to throw around the phrase 'ふざけんなよ' quite commonly whenever someone does a dumb/stupid thing; the phrase roughly translates to 'Don't screw around/be silly'. Well this episode will test the limits of how many times he will say it, with the theme of the episode being the gang and some guests bringing in an assortment of silly presents in an attempt to make him utter the phrase.

#1306 - Kiki Tomato Juice

The 39th installment of the Kiki series is tomato juice. Once again, the number of choices has been reduced from 12 to 10 for this week. Wonder how Hamada will go, given he has expressed a dislike of tomato before...

Another edition of Strolling to Meet Celebrities, this time in Shimokitazawa, located in Setagaya, Tokyo.

#1308 - 6th Silent Library (Part 1)

The legendary Silent Library series makes a return this week, 8 years after the fifth installment with movie director Mitani Koki. This time, actor and friend of Downtown Azuma Mikihisa is the guest participant.

#1309 - 6th Silent Library (Part 2) & Extra Ghost Stories

This week concludes the 6th edition of Silent Library.

A spinoff of the Sudden Japanese Dance Competition. This week features 5 more contemporary dances in samba, flamenco, awa odori, take no kozoku and tari dance. Each member gets one and has to do as best as he can.

This week marks the 2nd edition of GOTTSUAN, the sumo wrestling tournament where managers from different entertainment agencies do battle. Gaki's own Fujiwara is once again competing.

This week concludes the 2nd GOTTSUAN tournament. Looks like Fujiwara is once again allowed a saloon passage through to the final battle. Who will he fight? Will he win? How many times do you think he will stutter through his introduction?

A new edition of Shichi Henge with the guest this week being comedian Kano Eiko, who made his first ever appearance on Gaki in the previous Manager Sumo tournament. Matsumoto mentions then that he would like to have Kano on Shichi Henge in the future so it seems like it has been approved.

This week features the 2nd Rendezvous Game.

This costume talk focuses on some complaints of Matsumoto while he was in Hawaii for summer holidays and a letter that Tanaka wrote to Endo 20 years ago that Endo found recently while searching around his private items in his home. The gang will hear this letter for the first time.

This week it's the return of the Absolutely Tasty series, which will have its first episode in almost five years. The theme for this episode is okonomiyaki, which has been used as an ingredient in other episodes before, but this is the first time it will be used as the base.

The conclusion to the Okonomiyaki challenge will have Matsumoto and Hosei present their dishes.

This week features the Gaki crew and some celebrities with absolutely no background in music, and they have to prepare on short notice for an a cappella singing contest.

As per the first edition of this concept that aired on the 9th of August last year, the gang listen to guests with foreign backgrounds tell scary stories from their own home countries and the gang determine whether they are really creepy stories or just plain absurd.

The gang are going out for a little drive for this week's episode with a little twist. They all have to decide on a handsome facial expression and keep their faces with the same expression for the whole 30 minutes, even during conversation. If one of them breaks their expression, the time is reset and they cannot stop until they last 30 minutes.

This week is a mini-spinoff of the 'I Think You Will Like This Item' series; where the episodes before had certain themes like pants, shirts etc., this time there will be no particular theme: the gang will just simply present an item they think suits the guest best. And this weeks guest is Ryucheru, a young model who has made his claim to fame this year for his rather extravagant fashion sense during his appearances on TV.

Another Rendezvous Game for the gang to get through this week. The usual rules apply: the five members are given a theme and must go a place that they associate best with that theme. Until all five are at the same place, the game does not end.

This week concludes the 3rd Rendezvous Game from last week.

Hamada once again takes charge of cram school in the third edition of Hamada's Cram School, the first in two years. In case you don't remember what it's about, Hamada, with Matsumoto as his assistant, takes Hosei, Cocorico and a host of other comedians through some 'classes', consisting of strange challenges.

The five guys each have to spend some time with men older than them and see who is the most compatible couple.

#1326 - Kiki Melonpan

We reach the 40th edition of the Kiki series with melon bread as the main subject for this week.

A new challenge for the gang this week, with the guys going on location and recording a little planned 'segment'. After finishing they then must try and replicate the exact same segment on the second and third takes without going off script or having any little incidents happen during the repeat filming.

This week sees Liars' Hotel back for a fourth edition. What kind of crazy stories can the guys create?

This week features the gang in a impersonation competition of legendary rockstar Yazawa Eikichi, trying to act out various 'normal' situations as Yazawa.

The third Shichi Henge contestant for this year is Jungle Pocket's Saito Shinji. He's part of a young trio who are considered rising stars of Yoshimoto Kogyo.

The gang have to go to cities they have not traveled to before, ask around for information regarding the best points and features about the city and then come up with a best 5 ranking of those cities. They have to travel around on foot for this segment.

This week continues from where last week's episode left off as the gang continue exploring new cities they haven't visited before.

Last Costume Talk for the year, discussing a couple of stories: Another discussion on Hosei's continued balding. The gang's thoughts about the No Laughing Batsu Game filming. A possible sequel for Endo's film 'Busjack', which was famously made fun of in No Laughing Prison for its poor Amazon DVD ranking two years ago. Discussion around the new buzzwords/popular terms for the past year and how out of touch Hamada seems to be with most of them.

This segment makes a return, this time with Suzuki Fuku, a child actor. Seems like this episode will probably bring out parental instincts in the gang, given all five now have experience.

The Gaki gang choose their favorite moments from the past ten years of No Laughing games and a couple of new details about this year's game are revealed.

This week, we enter the end-of-year review as the top ten moments/segments from the year are revisited.

This week features Drunk Dragon's Suzuki Taku's 24 hour interview.

First costume talk of 2015 will have the guys cover two specific topics: Hamada's recent encounter with fellow comedian duo Tunnels at an airport, and Endo's movie Busjack, heavily lampooned for its low popularity in No Laughing Prison, which experienced an uplift in popularity after the game aired

This week's episode features the infamous 'Pteranodon' impression of Endo being adapted into a 60 minute 'stage play' of his life.

Plot of this episode is not specified yet. Please check back later for more update.
