Byker Grove was a British television series which aired between 1989 and 2006 and was created by Adele Rose. The show was broadcast at 5.10pm after Newsround on CBBC on BBC One. It was aimed at an older teenager and young adult audience, tackling serious and sometimes controversial storylines.

5 months have passed. Changes are in the air as Norm doesn't like the Grove's policy and he wants stricter rules Leanne is taken to hospital by her parents, but it's just another 'test run'. Leanne's baby is almost due and she agrees to go and talk to the Grover's about being pregnant after Dom asks her, but Norm stops the conversation and bans Leanne. After other Grovers protest to Norm about it being unfair, they too are banned.

The Grovers continue to protest about being banned. Spud gets told some big stories by the twins. Luke gets a job with the local paper, but is hesitant when he is told by Sam to go to the Grove and get the dirt about the Leanne's pregnancy, drinking and sex. Laura is left alone after Spencer realises he is close to being caught. Akili takes action sending Norm on his way and the Grover's ban is lifted.

Stumpy shows off his magic skills and Bill makes a speech for the position of Byker Rep. There is a new troublemaker in town in the form of Kylie who forming went to Denwell Burn. Luke confronts Sam over the article about Leanne and she tells him to get use to it if he wants to have a career as a journalist as it is all about selling newspapers.

The Byker Rep Election is still in full swing. Scott turns down Kylie when she asks him out to prove to Eve and Hayley how pathetic they are. Kylie however plans her revenge on Scott and succeeds in embarrasing him. Adam goes around to see Leanne and tries to kiss her but she tells him she isn't ready for that. Later on Leanne's water breaks.

Leanne is in the hospital and in labour. Adam rushing to the hospital quitting his job to be there with Leanne. She has a baby boy and he is named Ben. Tony Bear win the Byker Rep Election. Eve is ready to move back with her mother unless Akili stops dating Heather.

Stumpy and Sadie are not seeing eye to eye as she keeps rejecting all of his ideas while he, Sadie and Tony Bear are in charge of the Grove. Leanne returns home with baby Ben but is having trouble adjusting to her new life as a mum. Hayley and Eve are once again not on speaking terms over the Scott issue and Hayley makes is embarrassed again in front of him due to the beauty contest.

Adam makes a big mistake when he chases after Robert and Jamie after they called Ben 'ugly', while he goes after them Leanne comes across Ben unattended. Leanne gets stuck into him about being responsible. The snack bar is losing money due to Brad's Hot Stuff and to make matters worse Stumpy failed to order more stock.

Stumpy is embarrassed when a levitation act he performs with Lucy is exposed as fake. Adam is still out of work and finally gets a job as an apprentice for Keith. Luke writes an article for the Byker Post but when Lou sees it she gets angry because it is about her and the child she gave up when she was younger. Scott continues to two-time.

Because of the digger incident, Jamie and Mickey have to clean the entire Grove. Scott's plan starts to unravel as Dom speaks to both Eve and Hayley and realises what he is up to. Adam continues to work for Keith, but all is not happy.

Mickey is embarrassed when Zoe and Lucy find out that his 'rock gig' is actually an old folks home. Adam is still getting loads from Keith about his work, but things start to look up when he meets Julia. Spencer is caught and Kylie gets called into the office.

Luke receives a letter from someone who say they are Lou's son and asks Dom for help. He meets Conor McIntyre who has a birth certificate and a photo. Bill gets beaten up by Spencer who wants to keep him quiet. Heather and Akili want to take the plunge and live together but Eve and Hayley are not happy.

Lou gets to meet her grandson Damien when Conor visits again. Still grounded Kate breaks the rules to see Mark, but when Alan finds them together he loses his temper. George goes to the grove with Sarah. Bradley still isn't spending enough time with Sadie and she is insisting that he change. Scott has to watch his step as Eve and Hayley plot their revenge.

Eve and Hayley get their revenge on Scott by humilating him. A mystery admirer has sent Chrissie some creepy love letters, but they are in fact from Kylie who is setting up Bill. Sarah ends her relationship with George after she finds out he is only 15.

Anjali is feeling left out as Luke spends more time having fun with Adam than her. A Spanish beach attendant called Alejandro catches the eye of Sarah and they immediately hit it off. Later on he slips her GHB into her drink and Luke finds her after looking for Anjali to apologise. Unable to kiss Sadie, Bradley confesses to her that he thinks he could be gay.

Julia finds out that Adam has a child when she meets Leanne for the first time. Adam who has been enjoying himself on holiday gets landed with Benjamin as Leanne wants a break and some time to herself. Conor and Damien have moved into the Gallagher house so Lou can spend more time and get to know them better. Sadie, still on the rebound from Brad's secret ends up kissing Luke but he backs away and she feels embarassed.

Chrissie decides to hold an event for Damien and Conor to raise money for them agyer Damien tells a tall tale to the other Grovers. Kate is finally out again after being grounded by her dad but she isn't meant to go near Mark but she isn't going to listen to that. Dom is told by her father to watch her and he warns Mark that he should break up with Kate. Luke is still confused and angry with Anjali and ends up with Sadie who hit it off again. Adam convinces her to go and make peace with Luke but she spots them together.

Norm makes a one-day return ready to make a new impression. Kate is dumped by Mark via email, she tries to talk to him but he says that they are over for good. She asks him if her dad has said something and Mark tells her it was actually Dom. Luke gets himself to confess to Bradley about kissing Sadie after he thinks Anjali has already told him. Sadie accidently lets it slip about Bradley thinking he is gay to Luke. Meanwhile Luke phones Adam to tell him to met with him because Lou is thinking of signing everything over to Conor. After doing some research though Luke finds something he wasn't expecting - Conor's grave.

Bradley is confronted with fear after he finds his office vandalised. Sadie confesses to him that she told Luke just as he is about to go and find him Adam arrives and admits that he was responsible. Conor is waiting for the party where Lou is going to sign over her house to him. Luke goes to see Conor's ex-rugby coach, Ted Stoker, which he had seen a photo of in an old newspaper article. Ted tells Luke that Conor is dead and that the person who has turned up is actually Trevor Wilson, who used to be Conor's best friend and was also in the article. Luke returns and tells Lou the truth and shows her the proof. 'Conor' leaves empty handed and without the house. Anjali has her going away party and she leaves for India.

The series returns with Ben now concerned with his future due to his criminal record. His father tries to give him a helping hand but Ben wants more out of life. Development workers are in the forest, the boundaries of the Grove are set to be changed to make room for a housing block. Regina is determined to stop them when she hears about it from Stumpy, Jamie and Robert. And Bradley shocks the Grove when they all get to meet his girlfriend Sadie.

Regina begins her protest of the re-development. Sadie and Bradley's dating service is going good - but only from their point of view. Ben is still trying to figure out his own future and tries for the position of Assistant Youth Leader, only to lose the position to Cher - newly returned. Ben then goes to Denwell Burn at the insistance of Lesley only not to be warmly welcomed.

Cher comes to head with Dom over his 'new ideas' for the Grove which he has picked up in America. Bradley is cracking on with his ‘love buffet' to please his unhappy date agency Grovers. Stumpy is looking forward to it – it could be his real chance to get the girl of his dreams! Adam and Luke get into trouble by heading off to the pub instead of going to the 'love bash'. Howevwer Adam gets carried away and picks a fight with Spencer which gets him kicked out. Luke goes after his brother leaving their girlfriends - Leanne and Anjali - stranded in town. Bradley is caught out with the love matching - causing the Grovers to want their money back.

After being the job of youth leader is won by Cher, Ben is still determined that it is what he wants to do. Regina is still pulling together a group to protest against the council development. She gets Bill to agree to be tied to a tree with her so they'll be there when work is due to start in the morning. The twins have their night as Adam and Leanne share a drink and then temptation gets to them. While Anjali and Luke share some time together. In the end it seems that Regins needn't have bothered with the protest as Jamie finds bats in the forest which are protected, thus no development can be done by the council.

Ben, who is working at Denwell Burn is still finding it hard to find his place as he is still less than welcome. After the tent swap incident which meant they were banned from the Grove for a while; Luke, Adam, Leanne and Anjali are allowed back on the condition that there is no more trouble. And Kate, a fan of Adam, turns up leading Leanne to get jealous when she jumps to conclusions.

Adam confesses about his unusal behaviour of late to Luke and Anjali. Leanne is regreting her night with Adam, especially when she finds out that Anjali and Luke haven't done it yet. Stumpy embarrasses himself big time in front of Hayley. And Ben is just starting to settle in working at Denwell Burn, he even goes to a show with Emma, which only stirs up feelings with Matt and Craig as they return to his flat and find graffiti on his door which says: ""Grove Scum – You're dead!""

The football match is on but after Adam refuses to talk to Leanne about that night, she drops the team. Despite this the girls win over the boys. Ben is still having problems in Denwell Burn - Craig who's been behind it all - then goes after Emma forcing Ben over the edge and his career hanging by a string after he attacks him.

After the warning from Eve, Akili decides to ease off drinking. Ben gets his job back after they discover the truth about Craig's hate campaign. Angry over being kicked out of the Denwell Burn Craig steals a car bent on getting revenge on Ben and Emma - and when he finds them, he drives right for them - Ben manages to push Emma out of the way, but can't avoid the car themselves.

A funeral starts of the episode without anyone knowing who it is for. Craig finally realises the consequences to his actions after the accident and Adam is determined to find him and have a go at him. Akili, who has kept his promise so far to Eve can't take it anymore with everything that has happened and drinks himself drunk - finally discovered by Matt and Emma.

Craig is still missing and Adam goes out looking for him again. Cher is desperate to cheer everyone up and decides to arrange a trip. Stumpy's secret is discover by Lucy, the other boys tease him so he decides to prove that he isn't a push over by forging his mums signiture for the Blackpool trip.

The Grovers are in Blackpool on the trip planned by Cher to lift their spirits. Stumpy loses his temper with Lucy while on a treasure hunt and tells her to get lost. She heads off upset on her own, only to come across Craig who is still wanted by the police.

After succesfully rescuing Lucy from Craig the Grovers spirits are high. Adam is still grieving over the death of Ben and his brother goes looking for him hoping to prevent him from getting revenge on Craig. He finally gets to work through everything with Luke by his side.

Stumpy is still out to impress Kate and decides that the way to do that is to change his image. Chrissie and Cher have swapped positions for a short time as part of their training - Cher going to the upperside club and Chrissie getting the Grovers. And complications and misunderstanding around Flip who is dating Laura behind Regina's back - while Regina is seeing Bill behind his back.

Leanne goes to the doctor after feeling unwell during the football competition only to have to tell Adam that she is pregnant with their child. The Grove loses the football match to Denwell Burn.

Leanne finally tells her parents about the pregnancy and they are not happy about it. Adam isn't ready to face the fact that he is going to be a father and runs off. Adam finally turns up trying not to let on to Lou who already knows and Anjali let the cat of the bag and told Luke who is ready to punch his lights out. All does not end well when Luke tells Adam he no longer has a brother.

Luke supports Leanne in an attempt to get back at Adam to whom he is still not speaking to. Lou gets Adam and Leanne to sit down with her parents, only Leanne's father wants her to get an abortion which leads to Adam running off again. A broadcast program is set up for the Grovers, from a secret location of course, while Stumpy is still giving out relationship advice, the girls have a gossip show and Jamie and Robert also get in on the act. The only problem is that there are hidden mircophones all over the Grove and when Adam and Luke finally talk through things - it gets broadcast to the whole Grove.

A stray dog gets adopted twice, first by Mickey and the by Stumpy. Dom and Chrissie are concerned with the fallout over Leanne's pregnancy. Leanne goes to a mother's school - where she can learn about what to expect being a teenage mother. Regina and Bill make up but when he again tries to tell her about Flip and Laura she stops talking to him again - until she sees the truth first hand.

Adam realises that he needs to support Leanne more only to go and visit her to find Luke there which makes Adam feel left out. Spencer is still chasing Sadie but she is in love with Brad. In order to get back at her he breaks into the Grove to steal the computers.

Sarah is being sucked in by Spencer's lies when she accepts to go on her dream holiday after Sadie turns it down. The computer thief still hasn't been caught so Regina and Bill decide to try their hand at being detectives, while the rest of the Grove are talking about Regina leaving to go to Ireland.

The musical is on and Bill decides to suprise Regina. Sadie tells Bradley that she loves him for who he is not his money after Spencer dobs him into the police. Sarah and Spencer take off together before she finally comes to see the truth as the police catch up with them while they try to get on a ferry both ending up in the back seat of a police car. Leanne and Adam finally sort thins out and Luke backs off as the two go to have the first ultrasound at the hospital.

The break-in trial of when the Denwell Burn, a rival youth club, broke in is taking its toll as the future of Byker Grove is unsteady. Grove Youth Leader Paul is set up along with Matt to take the fall for the break in and although Matt can clear their name he is too frightened to speak up. Paul's father is afraid that if the truth doesn't come out that he will get a criminal record. In order to have some cash Regina decides to earn money by delivering papers. Ben's 18th birthday is fast approaching and there are mixed feeling to go with it as he is now an adult and must leave his home with Lou as a foster child. Trying to cheer Ben up Adam and Luke plan a party for him but Claire is planning to move back with her parents in Tenerife and still hasn't told Ben.

Akili is relieved as Matt tells the truth in court and Paul is set free with no criminal charges. Steve is less than impressed with Matt and says he will get his revenge. The following are the rulings: Matt - Reparation Order Steve - 4 months detention and training Byker Grove is reopened and both it and Denwell Burn are under Special Review. Now on his own Ben plans to have Claire move in with him however things don't go to plan when he asks her and she ends up in tears. The truth about Tenerife is revealed.

Byker Grove gets a paint job and Matt is one on the Reparations team to do the job. The peace talks don't last very long after Matt sees Craig and heads straight for him, this after Paul has got the other members of the Grove to leave him alone. Luckily for Matt, Ben gets them apart just before they are seen. Hamsters are the new racing method and Stumpy challenges Robert from Denwell Burn to a race. Meanwhile confusion continues to rain with Ben as Nikki and Stella secretly organises to get both Ben and Claire to the Grove to say goodbye. Finally they confess their love for each other, but just as Claire makes the decision not to go to her parents in Tenerife she finds Ben and Nikki in a compromising position.

Anjali gets a less than welcome reception from Adam and Luke who don't want to ‘baby-sit' her. She's the new foster kid who likes to brag about anything she thinks will impress the others. However, the twins less than impressed decide to leave her behind and not take her to the Grove as they were asked to do by Lou. The Hamster Race is also on. Stumpy's new hamster wins but he loses his friend Eve who thinks it was stupid because Akili could have been fired over the race had they been caught. Still feeling confused and lonely since Claire left, Ben goes looking for Nikki only to be told by Greg to stay away. Back at home he rings the only person he feels he can talk to, Lou only to have the message he records on the answering machine smashed by Anjali who feels abandoned and alone.

Unable to stay away from Leanne, Luke breaks his grounding to see her. Both he and Adam we punished for leaving Anjali behind and the blame of the broken answering machine is put on them. But Anjali is also to blame, in order to get Adam also into trouble she gets him angry and annoyed so that he leaves and then goes running to Lou. Luke continues to deny to Adam that he is even dating Leanne, even though he clearly is, however Adam knows what he saw on the video, that and that Leanne is now furious with Luke for saying that they aren't dating. Their night out however doesn't last much longer when Lou finds them and takes them home, to find the mess. After a yelling match Anjali runs from the house to be found by Lou in the woods. The twins are now divided on what they would like to do with her: another chance or shift her out. A club musician, Fraser, provides Emma with her first gig, however she is mislead because of confusion: It's not a ‘60's night, it's an over 60's night. After m

Mukasa is still trying to fit in, but is upset when his trousers are ripped in a softball game, he tells Sarah that he and his mother left Uganda with only what they were wearing and that the trousers were his only pair. It is Eve however that decides to rally the troops to take a collection to get some things for Mukasa. The twins are literally doing everything they can to escape Anjali who is still at the house, only Ben is the one to suffer after a sleepless night due to the twins and ends up late for work and cops it from Nikki. Stumpy is found out to be the Grove thief after a group of the Grovers raid his place and find the stolen items he has been ‘returning' to people. Greg has taken up paraplegic sports and Ben goes to watch only to meet up with Nikki. Once the ‘sorry' is out of the way Nikki tells Ben about how she want to be a veterinary nurse once she leaves school, after a play fight her and Ben end up kissing. Has Claire been forgotten for good?

Nikki returns Ben's mobile to him at his flat but won't go inside. Tina has returned from her training course but goes unnoticed in the Grove.

The twins get stuck to clean up the club after Anjali takes off the moment Lou turns her back. Anjali has actually gone off to cry because she thinks that Lou will now send her away and she doesn't want to leave. Musaka is homesick and Sarah helps him feel more at home by finding some photos of Uganda on the web because he has none. Joe and Regina have re-edited their secret video and is a success, thanks to the hosts Wom and Bat (the hamsters). Adam like Regina, Regina like Greg, confusion reigns for a while before Greg gets the kiss from Regina.

Nikki is leaving but soesn't have the heart to tell Ben, who gets fired from his job after he shouts at the manager thinking that the manager sacked her. Finally Matt tells Ben the truth. When Nikki finds out what Ben did she feels responsible because she didn't tell him. Ben tries to tell Nikki how he feels but is interrupted by people saying goodbye, but finally gets his chance and takes her aside to kiss. In order to cheer Reenie up Bradley buys her a scratchie ticket to make her forget about her heart attack for a while. Stella is embarrassed when Dom turns her down for a date. Greg ends his relationship with Sarah wanting to start fresh with his new life.

The Grovers start out with their 'adventure'. Joe and Regina try flirting with each other meanwhile Leanne wants some time alone with Luke without Adam coming between them. We find out all about Musaka's family about what happened to them and why he was so freaked out when he say Dom in his outfit. Joe loses members of his team left, right and center. First Jamie and then Eve. Jamie is found cold and wet but alive but Joe then finds Eve's coat floating in the river - he fears the worse, she's drowned?

Eve and Jamie are rescued after Akili hears them yelling for help. Anjali helps Lou around the flat and she appears to have made a quick recovery, however as always she is up to something else. Ben has ran out of money in his flat.

In order to afford an exercise video, Stella steals her mother's credit card and when her friend Helen finds out they argue and Helen accuses her of being like her father ""a thief"". Anjali is caught out when the twins, Luke and Dominic figure out who set the pranks. The truth is known about Luke now as he finally tells Leanne about his Dyspraxia. Bradley, desperate for money pawns his family watch and when Reenie finds out she gets the watch and gives it back to Bradley on the promise that he won't gamble anymore. The episode ends on a sad note as Bradley comes home from the shopping to find Reenie dead, not asleep on the couch as he had thought.

Emma rehearses with Fraser and Paul returns back form his trip to France and goes to find Emma only to agrue with her and Fraser sends him out the door. Dom applies to be a trainee youth leader and Ben becomes jealous. Meanwhile love is once again in the air when Joe first helps her with her paper round and then gives her a friendship brooch. Stumpy makes an idiot of himself when he accepts a challenge from Bill and enters them into a skateboarding competition. After a fall during the contest Luke hides in the bathroom both he and Adam end up with injuries after they trade places.

Injuries from the skateboarding competition are abundant. While Adam is lucky to have only slipped a disc, Lou warns Luke about the possibility that Adam might not be able to pursue football as a career. Anjali finally tells Adam and she and Luke get into a fight. Reenie left Bradley a figurine and he decides to sell it, Stella takes it to a shop and gets 200 pound for it, but keeps 15% for herself. Akili suggests that the grove have a Radio Station. After a romantic dinner with Emma, Paul finds out the truth, that she kissed someone else and that she really loves Greg.

At the radio station both Beth and Jodie are now producers and for their first prodcast they get Sarah to interview Musaka. Eve gets a disgusting surprise when instead of getting a can of drink she receives dead hamsters instead, Stumpy blames himself and together they bury them in the woods. Stella receives a letter from her father in prison and tries to keep it secret. She goes to visit her father and is in heaps of trouble when she returns home to see her mother waiting. And Anjali is finally making progress with the others in the house, but things don't go to plan when a fire starts in the kitchen.

Anjali is once again in the firing line with Luke as he blames her for the fire in Lou's kitchen. Upset with both Luke and Lou, Anjali tells Matt that she wants to stay and then gets the courage to tell Lou how she really feels. Luke and Adam can't agree about Anjali staying but Lou makes the final decision that she can. Carl has finally been released from prison and goes looking for Ben immediately, Ben is earning his money by renting out games to the Grovers. Flip helps out Lesley by offering her lessons as she desperately wants to fit in with the skatboarding crew. Musaka's family has died and to say goodbye he, his mother, Bradley, Stumpy and Anjali through bottles into the rivers with messages in them.

Ben heads off for Tenerife in order to win back Claire. Luke is upset when Adam tells him that he'll never make it to be a professional footballer. Anjali doesn't like what Adam said and tells Leanne that Luke is going to break up with her. Regina is awe-struck with Flip's skateboarding and asks him to give her lessons. Laura tries to make Regina look like an idiot but sees through her plan. Two bad things end the episode, Steve is out of jail and Juliet wants a divorce from Akili.

Steve continues his reign of terror over Robert and gets him to spy on Matt. Parcels start arriving for Matt out of the blue although he suspects that Steve is somehow behind it. Meanwhile over in London, Akili has gone to talk to Juliet not knowing what he is getting into. Lesley accidently gets locked in the attic by Tina and when she sees a mouse totally freaks out. In the backyard Adam burn all his football gear. Flip gives Regina a skateboarding lesson, Laura in the meanwhile gets Bill to admit how much he like Regina and then goes ahead and tells her. Ben is still away in Tenerife and while he's gone Luke finds a 100 pounds in Ben's cupboard.

After returning from his trip to Tenerife Ben immediately starts taking more orders for games. Luke is suspicious but does nothing. We also find out that Claire has moved on with her life and has found a new love. After a fight with Juliet's new boyfriend Julian, Akili is sporting a black eye. Dom tells Akili that he has been accepted to work at Camp America. Steve sets up Matt so that Emma won't speak to her because he fancies her himself. Laura is heartbroken when Flip asks out Regina and Leanne is also heartbroken when Dom leaves the Grove.

Steve's temper is getting worse and he hits Robert so he'll do another errand. Ben rings in sick and has to decide what to do with all the stolen games in his flat. Luke and Adam decide to visit Ben and finds the stolen games, Luke doesn't want any trouble and leaves the flat but Adam stays behind. The new youth leader of Denwell Burn is Akili. Matt goes looking for Emma after he is set up while looking for Steve and ends up covered in paint. It is Matt who finally finds Emma safe. Luke confronts Ben about the games to find out if they're stolen or not. Ben finally decides after a while that he wants to return the games and heads back to his flat, only to see Adam and Luke driven off in a police car along with the games he stole.

When the kids notice Geoff being stand-offish they decide that he must be going through a mid-life crisis. In order to cheer him up they all get together to throw him a surprise 70's party. It came complete with 'performances' by Charlie's Angels (and 'Charlie' who got a face full of cream) and the band The Who. And on a less than cheery note Harry finally decides she's had enough of Ben and they break up.

Ben tells Jack that he broke up with Harry and she isn't happy when she finds out. Harry submits a tape to a company offering a competition. And Ben tries to make it up with her only to kiss Cher as part of a bet he had with Ollie. Jack's birthday is coming up and they arrange to take him ten pin bowling. Teraisa gives Jack a red jacket to him for his birthday then gets upset when he agrees to go ten pin bowling instead of spending the evening quietly with Teraisa. Stumpy is caught in the building when he isn't a member because he isn't twelve yet, he's actually nine so instead he takes his dog ""Wombat"" for a walk. Regina likes spending time with Stumpy. Ollie gets two tickets to a football match and the rejected Ben is his second choice to go with as Greg can't go because of Jack's birthday. Nikki gets to thinking about her mother Carol but her father doesn't want her to see her. The manager then asks them to leave the complex, ruining Jack's birthday. Harry's tape is good but when t

Jack receives a cheque for 2,500 pounds from his Aunt Mary who has passed away. He then spends the money on a motorbike. He also makes amends with Teraise about the evening before and his birthday. Nikki's father drives her to see her mother only for her to be disappointed in her mother's denial of what happened with Mike, but she is determined to return the following day to finish sorting it out. Harry is having trouble getting to the mixing table as Ollie, Ben and are constantly using it, this stops after Sian loses her cool and tells them to stop using the 3-1 tactic and start sharing an hour a time. Sian also tells Jake that she wants to talk more. Cher tries to talk to Ben about the kiss, only to have Harry walk past at that moment. Meanwhile raising money for a dog kennel for Wombat is top priority.

Jack shows off his bike the rest at the Grove and takes lessons to get his learners. Teraise waits for him to call, only to have her father tell her that she isn't to ride on the bike with him. Nikki returns to speak with her mother Carol only for her to drop a bombshell on Nikki, that she will be testifying on behalf of Mike. Ben and Harry are still not being civil to each other, but Harry is confident that she is going to win the DJ competition which Ollie, Ben and Greg are also going to enter. Jake wants to talk to Sita, but doesn't get the chance as Karen and Cher interrupt. Regina, Laura, Emma and Barry form Clowns R Us in order to make money to pay for a kennel for wombat. At the DJ competition Ollie tries to sabotage Harry's chance of winning but she comes through and wins. Ben is more than happy when he asks Karen out and she accepts only to have Cher change her mind, so he now has two girlfriends.

Ben is trying to keep up with dating both Karen and Cher but things get tricky at the art gallery and his plan is finally disguised. Teraise and Jack take the bike out, only to have it stolen. Nikki's looks through photos that were taken off her and her mother with Mike before he moved in with them. Sita doesn't know what to say to Jake when he asks her to move in with him. Jake wants to impress Sita, in order to do that he takes the advice of Karen and Cher and buys an expensive designer label ‘little back dress' for her. Greg tries to get Claire to go out with him, she refuses, being much more interested in Harry and her DJ skills. However she steals some of Harry's records only to be caught climbing out the window by Nat. The Clowns R Us turn up at their first gig only to have been beaten by Mr Jolly Wolly, after a few cream pies in the face they are all sent packing from the birthday.

Clowns R Us decide to revolt after Jake's cut is 20% and team up with Mr Jolly Wolly (Bradley) in order to prove their point with cream. Meanwhile, Ben is still avoiding Karen and Cher who are determined to exact revenge on him for two-timing them. Sita wants to prove her point with Jake and designer clothes by making an idiot of him at the mall. Also at the mall, Ollie, Greg and Ben (who's still hiding) are dressed up as bumble bees, Ben is eventually caught by the girls. Jack's bike is still missing and decides not to report it to the police as Teraise was on the back on the bike which was illegal and because there's no police report he can't claim on the insurance. Nikki's trial is coming up and she is shown around the courtroom, her father finds out that her mother Carol will be giving evidence on behalf of Mike and she tells Greg that she doesn't want to go through it because she doesn't think that anyone will believe her. Claire gets to clean up the DJ room after being caught try

Nikki's trial starts and on the second say she gives her evidence against Mike, but her testimony goes about as well as Jack's and Tereasa's. Cher starts drawing up some new designs for her Cher and Karen only to have Jake offer to manage them. Sita tells Jake that they don't want his money and that first he has to get orders; he agrees. Ben and Ollie have a great new plan, to make their own beer, only they set it up on the top floor and tells the other Grovers that there is a ghost and have to follow through after Regina and some other Grovers decide to have a slumber party. Harry begins her first road tour as a DJ.

Nikki's mother changes her mind at the last moment during the trial to back what Nikki said. The verdict comes in as guilty. Cher is still annoyed at Sita for refusing Jake's money, and Jake is still not on speaking terms with her. Cher gets a grant for a 1000 pounds, only it actually isn't for real. Rob returns back from Australia only to get the cold treatment all round. Meanwhile, a group of Grovers are still ghost hunting and come close to finding Ollie and Ben's beer brewery. Greg discovers another part in the but Ollie and Ben tell him to get lost. Jake approaches Rob in order to get help in the business and get Rob models, only Rob doesn't want any part of it.

Greg, Ben and Ollie get into trouble with Geoff over the beer brewing and are warned not to make anymore trouble. Jack jumps Liam because he thinks he's a burglar only to find out he will be staying there. Liam avoids answering questions about anything Rob is waiting for the council to approve a fete and Geoff passes on the good news that it has been granted. Cher has finished some of the samples for Jake to sell and now have to decide on a logo and brand name.

Geoff Keegan dies in a fire.

Rob takes all the credit when ram-raiders are stopped by him, Terry and Ben. Tensions between Harry and Cher continue to mount and Cher ends up stealing Harry's idea for a syncromised swimming team. Meanwhile at the Pool Tournament at the Grove Terry is raving mad when Karen teams up with Rob against him and Ben. And Flora grows a conscience after she hears about Phillip and his poor life.

Rob's life goes from bad to worse after Brigid comes to him to make things up, all was going well until she finds out that Rob was hiding during the ram-raid. Flora and Anna want Phillip to appear on TV will them, he goes to Terraise and Jack for help. And Sian catches Cher stealing from the Grove to pay for the coach she hired for the synchronised swimming.

Alfie is disappointed with the success of the Pool Tournament when Karen purposely pots the black eight meaning that Terry and Ben win. Harry is still seeking revenge on Cher and does it by terroising her. And Toon Pizza is where Brigid wins a free meal for two, but who will she invite…?

Karen's deed turns sour when Terry learns that she lost on purpose, and he decides to break up with her. So slipping back to plan b she decides to let Rob know by anonymous letter that she cheated with the game and he of course wants a rematch. Ed has entered the lads into a soft drink competition. And Brigid has decided to invite Cher to the free meal leaving a very angry Harry. When everyone else has left the two girls fight and we're left with Harry holding Cher underwater.

Cher has Harry arrested for attempted murder. New blood in the Grove when Leanne arrives and becomes friends with Brigid who is fast losing herself to depression. More on Cher as Sita and Teraise try to get Cher to see things from Harry's point of view and she decides to drop the charges, but tells Harry that they will never be friends. And to finish things off, Alfie and Leanne share a kiss.

Alfie is disappointed that Leanne wants to keep their relationship a secret. Brigid is left waiting for Leanne who has gone off with Alfie, this by chance lets her get to know Terry better. Still with Brigid, and Rob wants another chance he make arrangements through Terry who 'accidently' sends her to the wrong McDonalds.

The Spacer Race is still going. Alfie is caught out bragging to his mates about what he and Leanne have been doing by Brigid who jumps to the conclusion that he raped her. Sita is turned down for a role in a local musical. Both Ben and Jack are interested in Teraise, but she's only intersted in one of them.

Ben brings a friend home from school, Ollie.

Ben takes Ollie to the Grove. They decide to break into the attic, however the rotten floorboards end their plans when Ben's arm goes through them. They tell Lou that it was Geoff fault saying that he hadn't locked the door to the attic, the plan being that they would get money for compensation.

Ollie and Ben are forced to come clean after Sian has to administer first aid to Ollie after he has an accident while climbing over the fence.

New girl Emma joins Harry and Nat against the boys of the ""Ollie's Network O"".

Alfie and Leanne get to celebrate a short-lived 3 month anniversary after the 'Ollie O' boys come looking for ""Trooper John"" who Ollie had been in contact with over the Internet.

Ollie finds out that ""Trooper John"" is actually Emma.

Lou takes in a new foster child, Harry. A girl who has a tragic past. Cher, her bestfriend, comes to visit her and Frew invites them to the Grove.

Frew is released from the court on the sole condition that he leaves Newcastle, Lou arranges for him to stay with her sister in Northampton.

Teraise is angered when she discovers that a free poster of a pop band had been defaced by her newspaper deliver. She confronts him and he apologises as he was only doing it in protest for girls to start liking boy bands for their singing talent instead of how good looking they are.

Phillip is taken by Teraise to meet Geoff at the Grove. However on the way there Gruff, a wayward goat, follows them. Angered that Teraise didn't pay him any attention, Jack arranges to have Gruff taken to the slaughterhouse (which is where he was from to begin with). Teraise and Phillip save Gruff from his fate.

A sad day at the Grove for Terraise and Phillip when Gruff is killed in a racist attack on the Grove.

Terry introduces his younger brother Ben to the other Grovers. Problems follow though as their father has just been released from prison and he has no intention of going straight.

Jack and Phillip are planning to be the Gallagher brothers for the ""Stars In Your Eyes"" competition. Their first rehersal however goes a bit off as they get drunk on the alcohol that Alfie and Ed had hidden.

It's ""Stars In Our Eyes"" night at the Grove and Anne joins Sita on stage as the Eternal Sisters. Cher and Harry argue as Cher decides to perform solo as Madonna instead of performing as ABBA with Harry. Harry decides to get revenge on Cher by pulling the plug on the cassette player proving to everyone that she was miming.

When ""Screen Teen's"", which is being produced by a local TV station accept Jemma she is thrilled to have her chance at stardom. Lessons are being learnt by Angel and we have new Grove members, brother and sister Alfie, Anna and Flora.

Angel's problems escalate to the point of being resuced by Noddy. The Turnbull househouls is still simmering and tempers are ready to boil over between Anna, Flora and Alfie. Gary is set up on a blind date with Jemma by Charlie and Lee. And a spider with a taste for milkshake gives Lee a slight scare that's to Ed.

The ""Screen Teen's"" show isn't everything that Jemma thought it would be and finally agrees to Gary's request to be her cameraman. Ed's pets are still causing problems when Patsy and Arran decide to free them in the Grove. And things start to look good for Charlie when things click for her and Lee.

The wedding arrives at last for Peter and Jean but happiness turns to diaster when Anna falls overboard on the boat. Supernatural information is heard by Anna and Alfie from their dead mother and they try to give their step-mother a go. Barney and Frew nearly send the Grovers deaf from their so called music.

""Screen Teen's"" decide that Jemma is the one and Gary is also sought after by them and go out to celebrate. More wedding days problems for Peter and Jean when on their honeymoon, Flora decides to show up at the hotel.

The celebratory meal goes well with Jemma and Gary, but what will happen now that Jemma was accidently electrocuted while helping an elderly neighbour? Anna is still trying her best to try her father's new marriage but her wild party doesn't go the way she planned.

This episode is foreshadowed by Jemma's funeral. Her ""Screen Teen's"" episode is show at the Grove as a tribute to her. Flora and Brigid get hold of the DJ equipment of Barney and Frew's which disrupts Jemma's furneral. Amanda returns and with her she brings more than one trouble.

The crowd at Denton Burns are lucky to escape alive when Dale meddles with Barney and Frew equipment. Aston turns up looking for Amands and his child. Kit and his travelling community find a new member as Patsy become more and more involved.

Noddy once again comes to the rescue, this time with Angel for Amanda. But are there feelings for Amanda that Noddy hasn't said? There must be because he sends her flowers and an invitation to the fun festival. Things turn sour though when Angel warns Amanda to stay away from Noddy. Charlie starts modelling and Lee is the first to find out. And the fun festival for Patsy and Arran is a huge playground for them to ruin.

Noddy tells Amanda that he will help her out where he can with the baby. Amanda though has more problems because Angel and Leah are planning on ganging up on her.

The chain letters are becoming more than a little problem at the Grove. Noddy convinces Amanda to go out on a date with him, but he's not interested in a relationship but Frew and Arran are left holding her baby after she up and leaves. Patsy and her friends embarress and ruin Charlie's fashion show after the girls don't realise the models are actually wearing fake furs.

After leaving the baby with Arran and Frew the children services' department comes to investigate Amanada. The green eyed monster comes out when Charlie finds out that Lee is dating another model

Amanda is overjoyed when children's services approve her as a suitable mother. Charlie is not coping well with Lee's blossoming relationship with Kelly. And Patsy gets Leah to admit it was her her phoned children's services about Amanda.

Patsy's babysitting doesn't go well when she loses the baby. Leah leaves to find her real mother. Duncan makes a visit to the Grove to get a reference from Geoff for his college application.

Duncan, who is still around, gets himself entered into a competition when Dale doesn't show up by Marie and Anna. The only problem being that he wins and they have to tell the truth. Patsy breathes easy again after the baby is found. Leah meets her real mother for the first time.

After Barney and Frew are mugged the Grove Patrol gets into gear, but they're not really interested in finding the culprits. Noddy goes to Angel to try and tell her about his situation because he needs help. While at his party Amanda has to pay a price for leaving baby Sam at home. Leah is upset when her mother doesn't want anything to do with her.

After breaking up with Kelly, Lee tries to get back with Charlie. Amanda regains custody of Sam but has to seriously think about his long term future. A disheartened Leah returns to the Grove. And Noddy loses control of his feelings for Gary when he kisses him in the cinema.

Amanda decides that the best thing to do is put Sam up for adoption. Noddy has to deal with prejudice and backlash at the Grove as the news spreads about the kiss. While at Kleethorpes Holiday Camp, Alfie, Anna and Flora meet Karen.

Angel listens to Noddy as he breaks down over his feelings for Gary and she convinces him to see the counsellor. Lee is no closer to getting back with Charlie.

Using Lee for bait Terry is finally caught over the mugging, only he comes back for revenge. Gary is still mourning the loss of Jemma and won't listened to Angel's reasoning to get his and Noddy's friendship back on track. Karen tracks Alfie to Newcastle and pays him a suprise visit.

Debbie is unable to face PJ as he returns for the first time since his accident. His friends Amanda and Duncan try to keep his spirits high but they know that the person PJ really needs to be with is Debbie. Byker Grove also gets a debut from the new band in the house Grove Matrix.

Dale arrives at the Grove only to be made to feel less than welcomed. Charlie continues to get on everyone's nerves at the Grove with her film making. Noddy and Angel decide on some time away from the Grove by planning a fishing trip. Grove Matrix make their first performance at PJ's birthday only for Fran to accidently ruin the night.

PJ continues to fundraise causing Duncan and Debbie to see each other in a new light. And PJ has an accident. Charlie's grand masterpiece is nearly completed. Meanwhile, Noddy and Angel go to the riverbank only to receive a nasty shock.

Duncan and Debbie's growing feelings for each other are noticed by Amanda. Charlie cops a lot of flack because of including footage of PJ's accident in her film. And PJ has to put up with Patsy as she tells him to seek religion as a comfort for what happened. Meanwhile in the Gallagher household tensions are rising Leah and Patsy. Grove Matrix receives an image crisis before their gig at the Kolton's Club.

A potential royal visit to the Grove causes Angel to be overly excited, however Frew and Dale get hold of the letter only to prove that the visit won't happen, which gives them the bright idea of creating another letter to say tha tthe visit will go ahead. At Kolton's Club Marcus uncovers trouble and Duncan and Debbie finally make the grade in the first step of their new relationship.

Angel and Geoff find out about Frew and Dale's letter only after the Grovers get 'Royal Fever'. Duncan and Debbie chat over where their relationship is headed especially since it will effect PJ. Leah is still not talking to Charlie after the less than successful Film Society Awards and wants a new image. And Geoff has a stand in for a while and the Grovers are not impressed.

Fran gives Marcus an Ecstasy tablet and he begins to reget going clubbing with Morph. Amanda's parents are getting divorced and Charlie is being given the cold shoulder by Leah and Patsy who have now become friends with Dale. Debbie has a heart-to-heart with PJ about her relationship with Duncan. And Tim begin to rehersh at the Grove for Julius Caesar.

Tim bans Noddy from the Grove causing the boys to all go on strike. PJ makes the decision to leave for a specalist school in the countryside. And Amanda is still feeling depressed about her parents divorcing so Marcus tries to cheer her up by introducing her to his circle.

Tim is caught out by the boys in a compromising situation with the Dobson's mother, and Jemma finds out. Gary arrives at Byker Grove and immediately takes to Angel, Gary is Alison's newphew. Meanwhile Marcus is made an offer he can't refuse by the Kolton Club.

Alfie and Ed decide to enter a go-karting competition and Dale isn't interested in joining them. More troubles for Marcus after he gets into debt after he loses the drugs that Kolton gave him. Alison gets set up on a blind date by Barney and Frew who are onlt trying to help. And Jemma gets a confession out of Kath.

Angel gets a kiss, her first, from Gary. While she liked it, she wished it was with Noddy instead. Marcus gets rescued by Fran only to find out that she is in more trouble than she is. Duncan thinks that he may be losing Debbie which he really doesn't want to happen. Gary causes a water fight at the Grove.

In order to draw new members to the Grove, Leah decides to set up a 'murder evening'. Angel and Gary grow closer leaving Noddy out in the cold. Amanda is still having troubles and Marcus tries to help. And Jemma sets about planning in order to keep her parents together.

Noddy, in hospital from the motorbike accident, is visited by Angel who in turn has asked Lee to help repair the damage bike. Debbie decides that Duncan and her can't last forever and goes to visit PJ, who doesn't help and tells her that it is her decision. Marcus goes to talk with Amanda and makes a big decision.

Angel arranges for Brigid to look after the kids as she wants to go out with Noddy. Marcus leaves to join his mother and sister in London. More developments on the motorbike accident when Angel and Lee find out that Angel's dad owned the lorry. Patsy introduces a new face to the Grove, Aaron.

Angel and Teraise are taken hostage after Angel finds out that her ""uncle"" was driving the runawau lorry. Aaron and Patsy go on a little journey planned by Aaron. Duncan, still upset about Debbie, decides that it is time for him to move on after talking with Geoff. Meanwhile, Debbie goes for her first job interview and wrestle-mania hits the Grovers.

After being separated Patsy starts a search for Aaron. Leah and Gary go on a date which doesn't go to plan. And the police are bought into rescue Angel and Teraise from Angel's ""uncle"". Not to forget the junior members are mad on wrestling!

The Dobson family gets ready to take in Anna and Alfie, meanwhile we get to meet Flora, the step-sister to be. Jemma finally makes peace with her mother over the 'incident' and decides to stay with her in Newcastle. And Patsy and Aaron set out to rescue his gran.

Duncan and Noddy convince Chrissie to go with them to the ""Winter House"" which was a cult Duncan was researching for a school project. There she befriends a cult member named Leah. Farwells are said to Charley as she leaves for London to study to be a nurse.

The Grove and Denton Burn have a paintball competiton. To get PJ out of the running Debbie and Amanda decide to shoot at him, unbeknown to them is that PJ has taken off the protective googles and the paint hits him in the eyes.
