Retired police detective Thomas Bareski arrives in the French town of Montallier to investigate a series of unsolved disappearances. His methods, however, will make him clash with both the police authorities and the locals.
Thomas Bareski heads to the region of Arles, following the trails of a dangerous psychopath whom he has been chasing for several years. This time, however, he is not the only one eager to find and punish this elusive killer.
In 1991, in the region of Vendee, a 7-year-old girl disappeared without a trace. Now, many years later, the wandering Thomas Bareski is called upon to use his unconventional methods and try to shed light on this cold case.
Thomas Bareski arrives in a French ghost village to shed light on the violent murder of the Schal family -a mother, a father, and their baby- that has remained unsolved for six years. Will he manage to find the person responsible?
