The Catherine Tate Show is a British television sketch comedy written by Catherine Tate and Aschlin Ditta. Tate also stars in all but one of the show's sketches, which feature a wide range of characters. The Catherine Tate Show airs on BBC Two and is shown worldwide through the BBC. Collectively, the show has been nominated for six BAFTA Awards, two British Comedy Awards and an Emmy Award, and it has won two Royal Television Society Awards, two British Comedy Awards and a National Television Award since its debut in 2004.

Seasons & Episodes
Episode 1

Catherine Tate returns with a third series of her hillarious show. New characters include a Nothern Irish mum who's delighted her son's gay. Meanwhile Nan visits an old friend in hospital and Lauren takes a job in a burger bar.

Episode 2

Eastenders actress Natalie Cassidy guest-stars as a cheerleader after Lauren's boyfriend, Fifties landlady Ma Willow makes her first appearance and Nan has a rat in her house.

Episode 3

Derek Faye meets Bonnie Langford, Lauren receives a proposal, Nan has a new neighbour from upstairs and Bernie's brother's and sister's come over from Ireland to visit.

Episode 4

Gingers for Justice take to the rooftops with guest star Patsy Palmer. Lauren causes trouble in science class and The Aga Saga Woman and her children are terrified when a mechanic brings over a courtesy car whilst her Land Rover is being repaired.

Episode 5

Nan appears on Paul O'Grady's teatime show and broadcasts her horrible views to the nation. The Aga Saga women takes a wrong turn into "Tottenham" and Lauren refuses to speak French for an oral exam.

Episode 6

In the last episode in the series, Lauren gets hitched, Derek gets a massage, Georgie does another fund raiser, this time for dwarfs, Janice and Ray talk about a sandwich with no bread and Nan's sister comes over from Spain and Essex couple Paul and Sam return with more laughs.

Catherine returns with some old characters, and some hilarious new ones, including an incredibly gay guy in denial of his sexuality, and a crazy dog trainer.

Episode 2

Thomas and Chloe fear for their lives when "Mummy" has to hire an agency nanny from the north. The flatulent posh lady bothers a taxi driver with her demands and her...erm...functions. Meanwhile Lauren is 'not bovered' when she mistakingly calls 'Dizzy Rascal,' 'Naghty Rascal.' Muu Shepard, famous Birmingham dog trainer, deals with training a new champion after her old friend 'Mr. Tibbs' passes away. Nurse Berny has an incident involving a T.V. hypnotist. "Zebbedy" harrasses some customers at "Speedy Jays." The office ladys play their guessing game. Nev misses another visit to the roadside eatery by a famous person. Jason has to escort "Nan" to the doctor's office for a visit with no appointment...

Catherine plays Lauren the chav.

Episode 6

As another series comes to an end, Lauren accuses her teacher of being gay. Does Paul think his wife isn't funny anymore. The shop keeper asks Derek for some advice about her son being gay and Nan has a visitor over she met in the post office, which is the guest appearance of comedian Peter Kay.

A young couple has to live in their car for their baby's sake. Also does Beyoncé have "bling" or "bing"?

Episode 2

Catherine Tate introduces various new characters for the second episode of the hilarious sketch show. Characters include: The Frightened Woman - It's a birthday so expect more screaming! Information Woman - Someone's lost their mother! Bernie - Irish Nurse that's a little frisky "if you know what I mean..." Old woman- Confusing someone with Charles Manson. Paul and Sam - Laughing about a catalogue. Fly girl (Lauren) - Lauren's not invited to a party. Death Row Woman - A woman that's going to marry a convicted killer, that's on death row.

Bernie welcomes a new co-worker. A woman explains a meaningful conversation with a man and the scared woman is scared again.

Episode 4

A menacing game of 'IT' breaks out in the work office. Also, Catherine Tate's newly invented character shows us the silly game of 'Last Hit'. However things soon turn ugly when a man gets hit by a car, but still feels as if he needs to play.

Episode 5

We follow the grandma and her visit to the one pound shop, meanwhile Lauren is getting up to her own tricks again when she finds out she's not invited to a party.

Episode 6

Watch out as Catherine Tate and Peter Kay clash on in this rather special season final of Catherine Tate. Also watch out for Lauren as she manages to find her way into even more trouble.

In this special for Children in Need, Lauren (Am I Bothered) meets some of Albert Square's most dodgy women, including Stacey Slater and Peggy Mitchell.

The Old Woman meets up with Charlotte Church, and Lauren prepares a rather special 'X Factor' performance.

Catherine Tate may be Doctor Who's new assistant, Donna, but Catherine Tate has found time to do a Christmas special too. Highlights include Irish nurse Bernie duetting with famous patient George Michael at the hospital karaoke party, Nan cooking Christmas dinner for her daughter (Kathy Burke), and gobby teenager Lauren showing off her rapping skills to her mates and getting into trouble on a school outing.

It's Christmas Eve and Nan receives some unexpected visitors, in the form of Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. In this comic retelling of Dickens A Christmas Carol, Nan is shown the error of her ways, but is it too late for her to swap her Scrooge- like misery for some seasonal goodwill?
