That's My Boy is a British sitcom that aired on ITV from 1981 to 1986. Starring Mollie Sugden, it was written by Pam Valentine and Michael Ashton, who later wrote My Husband and I, which also starred Mollie Sugden. It was produced by Yorkshire Television for the ITV network.

When several of the neighbours cut Ida dead in the foyer of the block of flats, things are not quite what they seem.

Ida's foolish eough to take Wilfred's advice when he gives her an inside tip on a dead cert to win a horse race.

Robert's musical plans are thrown into disarray when he discovers one of the nurses is already singing 'Little Donkey' at the hospital Christmas concert. Wilfred helpfully suggests an alternative act - mind reading!

It' Sunday, and Ida's feeling very house-proud; Robert's 'other' mother is coming for tea. Already wondering how the visit will go, Ida finds things deteriorating when she breaks a tooth on a sausage roll and has to pay a visit to the dentist.

Ida agrees to take part in a wakeathon to raise money for a worthy cause. She decides she needs a long sleep before it starts. She has trouble sleeping and takes some sleeping pills. Then the police knock at her door to tell her there may be a bomb in the building and they all must leave the building. Mrs Price turns up and they both fall asleep in the police officers arms.

A chance encounter on a flight to Jersey leads to a very exciting fortnight for Ida!

Ida's stars are not favourable today. When she sets out to change Angie's blouse and buy her a floaty scarf at the local shop, she scarcely realises just how unlucky her day will turn out to be.

Ida's name has somehow found its way onto the computer at the employment agency. She is quick to let them know that she is not available for work, but then she takes a phone call...

Just as Ida and Angie are settling down to watch an old film on television, the set breaks down. Worse is to follow...

Angie thinks that Robert is getting stuck in a rut and insists that he go out for 'an evening with the boys'. Neither he nor Ida is prepared for the consequences!

Wilfred get a whack with a loaf when he lets himself into the house while everyone else is out shopping. He brings good news; Maureen is going to marry a drummer!

Having looked forward to a nice quiet Christmas with Robert and Angie, Ida learns that Robert has invited his boss for Christmas dinner, which causes Ida to argue with Wildred, her brother, over Turkey for the dinner, and to discover an innovative use for a hair dryer!
