Teech
Character actor Phill Lewis plays "Teech" Gibson, an idealistic music teacher struggling through his first year at an urban high school. Teech briefly aired on CBS as part of its 1991 Fall lineup - only lasting four episodes.
Teech Gibson is the new music teacher at Winthrop Academy, where, in this opener, he meets four troublemaking students assigned to his class as punishment for one of their pranks.
B.B. King plays Teech's Uncle Jasper, who urges Teech to compromise in a battle against Litton and a traditional Winthrop form of punishment.
Freedman strikes out, but Nichols is a hit with a girl who plays the field by allowing Freedman a second turn at bat.
Teech runs a reverse after being pressured to pass Dubeck, who twice fumbles a test, making him ineligible for football.
