After a director has Shawn and Topanga kiss while making a promotional film, Cory-certain the duo are harboring romantic feelings for one another-directs them to go on a date and explore their emotions. Meanwhile, Eric and Jack pretend to be mannerly in front of Rachel.

Cory may be possibly expelled from college, when he knocks a teacher out the screen-window of the commons room. However, that same teacher hit on Topanga in her dorm last night, and he's lying about it.

Cory loses his engagement ring when he goes to a bikini club with scantily-clad waitresses to prove that he still fits in with the rest of the guys, despite being engaged.

When Cory degrades a student's poem that Mr. Feeny reads in class, he is dismayed when he finds out that Shawn wrote it.

In an effort to become more popular, Eric creates a TV show similar to The Truman Show featuring his roommates, but it's Rachel who becomes the campus darling. Meanwhile, Cory and Shawn expect special treatment from Mr. Feeny.

Now that Cory and Topanga both know that Shawn and Angela still love each other, they have conflicting views on what to do about it -- especially when, unbeknownst to each other, Cory invites Shawn to join their family Christmas while Topanga invites Angela. Topanga wants to let well enough alone, but Cory misses no opportunity to throw his friends together, but the consequences are not exactly what he wants: after they finally kiss, Angela expresses her love for Shawn, but he protests that he is "not ready" to make the same commitment and she storms off for good. Meanwhile, Eric takes his store Santa job a little too seriously when he convinces Rachel and Jack to help him steal his family's gifts in order to make underprivileged children happy.

Shawn and Angela draw up a restraining order forbidding Cory and Topanga from any further interference in their romantic lives, but Shawn still has a difficult time seeing Angela date someone else -- especially when they all wind up in the same restaurant together. Meanwhile, Alan tries to overcome his feeling too old for another baby by shopping for a motorcycle, and Eric becomes an over-enthusiastic birthing coach.

Shawn and Jack's ne'er-do-well father Chet reappears on campus suddenly and, confronted by an angry Shawn, promises that he has come to stay and make amends to his sons for never being there for them. But after treating them to a steak dinner and consuming a piece of Rachel's "killer" chocolate cake, Chet suffers a heart attack. Shawn reveals that his anger at his father is partly fear that his own apparent inability to connect emotionally is inherited, and it appears a reconciliation might taken place -- then Chet has a second attack and dies. This is a powerful and quite touching episode, with a particularly affecting performance from Rider Strong, marred only by the obligatory presence of the entire cast in the emergency ward.

Cory and Topanga play "The Fiancée Game" to prove how compatible they are, and are crushed when Eric and Rachel prove to know far more about each other than they do. Topanga suggests a quick solution: they should live together on campus and really get to know each other. (Cory mistakenly thinks this means sex and buys satin pyjamas and sheets.) Living together shows them sides of each other they're not too crazy about: for example, his big toe clipping flies across the room and lodges in her already-applied facial cream. Meanwhile, Shawn has ignored Jack's repeated call about clearing out Chet's trailer, and, once persuaded, is freshly outraged to discover evidence that Chet went to Jack's stepfather for help in financing Shawn's college education. He decides to take the trailer out on the highway and convinces Cory to accompany him "for the weekend," but oddly insists on saying goodbye to Topanga. Then Jack, who has been struggling to contain his own grief in deference to Shawn's feelings, falls apart and cries helplessly in Rachel's arms; and Eric walks in to find them kissing passionately.

To take his mind off his dad's death, Shawn takes Cory along on a soul-searching road trip in Chet's trailer, where they end up at a truck stop where the young waitresses (portrayed by band Nobody's Angel) are searching for something more, just like Shawn -- and Cory discovers that Shawn has no intention of returning home. Shawn must persuade Cory to let him go, just as the girls' father/boss must let them find their own way. Meanwhile, Eric tries to understand the kiss he witnessed between Jack and Rachel -- as do they; and Shawn discovers that his father, a truck stop regular, was secretly very proud of him. In a surprise code, Chet's ghost appears to Shawn as father and son finally reconcile their differences and Shawn drives off into his uncertain future.

Cory becomes upset when Topanga seems less interested in spending Valentine's Day with him than with consoling Amy about the last stages of her pregnancy, so when Topanga decides to cheer Amy up with a baby shower, Cory takes charge. Unfortunately his concept of a baby shower turns out to be a female version of a bachelor party, complete with a pizza-guy stripper, but the disgusted guests are distracted when Amy's waters break and she is rushed to hospital for a premature delivery -- one which the new Matthews baby may not survive. Meanwhile, Shawn is still on the road to nowhere; Morgan is less than happy about the arrival of a new sibling; and Jack and Rachel worry about the effect of revealing their new relationship to Eric -- who announces he already knows, and is moving out.

While everyone anxiously awaits news about newly born Joshua Matthews, Cory's continued self-absorption alienates Topanga, who now considers herself a member of the Matthews family. Even Eric's little friend Tommy views Joshua as his new "brother." It's only when Shawn returns and is accepted by the elder Matthews as "family" does Cory realize where his true values lie. (And, of course, the baby turns out to be fine, though the anxiety of the other parents of premature infants is not minimized.)

Topanga is in wedding plan mode, and persuades (strongarms) Cory into accompanying her, Shawn and Angela to a posh ceremony in the hall of her dreams -- where an unhappy father of the bride offers Cory a million dollars to marry his daughter. Meanwhile, Tommy pleads with a heartbroken Eric to adopt him so he won't have to move to California, and Eric pretends to no longer want Tommy so he can be happy with his new family.

The series returns to form as Cory and Shawn unite for the last time as a "bad boy" team to help Mr. Feeny, whose hesitation in declaring his feelings for Dean Bolander looks like a fatal mistake when her ex-husband Curits returns from an expedition bent on winning her back. Shawn and Cory trash the interloper's lab and blame in on a jealous rage by Feeny -- who then saves Dean Bolander's life for real by swatting the rare bee brought back by Curits just before it stings his highly allergic love. She explains that she was not taken in for a moment by the boys' ruse -- just impressed that Feeny's students care about him so much. Meanwhile, Rachel challenges Jack to take her out on a real date.

When Cory and Topanga make an agreement to tell the truth about everything and everyone, their totally honest pact creates tension at Rachel and Jack's first dinner party. When the party guests play a game that forces them to also tell the truth, personal feelings are revealed that they would rather keep to themselves.

When Cory has nightmares where the recurring theme finds him trying to kill Shawn in imaginative ways, he goes to Feeny for an interpretation. Meanwhile, Eric finds a new, but odd, roommate -- one who seems to have seen Hitchcock's "Psycho" once too often.

While Cory deals with his anxieties about his impending marriage, Topanga's parents (real-life couple Annette O'Toole and Michael McKean) come for a visit and reveal some unexpected news: they are on the brink of separating. Meanwhile, Feeny pops the question to Dean Bolander (real-life husband and wife William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett), and they agree to get married in the Matthews living-room; and a self-pitying Eric asks Shawn for advice on how to cope with losing Rachel to Jack.

When Eric moves back home, Cory vows to get him a place to stay. But the roommate he finds turns out to be Shawn's half-brother.

New roommates Eric, Shawn and Jack are the focus of Cory's student film, and it isn't long before the trio's plot thickens: Shawn and Jack can't get along as brothers. Meanwhile, Topanga thinks Cory should prove himself more of a friend than a filmmaker.

After Shawn and Cory agree to attend the same college, Shawn learns Cory's made interview plans on his own - and the two decide it's time to go their separate ways. Meanwhile, Eric thinks befriending the dean will ease his and Jack's college experience.

After attending a college class and engaging in a winning debate with a professor, an empowered Shawn neglects high-school tasks in favor of collegiate ones - and gets suspended. Meanwhile, Eric forms his own fraternity (Magnum Pi), and arouses the Dean's suspicions.

Witches seem to be invading Pennbrook College when Jack's new spooky girlfriend Millie causes a serious rift between the roommates after Eric tells Jack that he caught her practicing witchcraft; and an unsuspecting Eric goes on a date with a teenaged witch named Sabrina. Guest Hart crosses over in her role from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Meanwhile, Cory takes Topanga on her first airplane ride, flown by a not-so-bright pilot.

The time ball swallowed by Salem the Cat from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch takes everyone back to the 1940s: Cory becomes a soldier fighting on the dangerous front lines in Europe, who wants his best buddy Shawn to marry his girl Topanga if he doesn't return.

Shawn's steadfast rule of dating girls only for a fixed two-week period leads him to break up with Angela; then he finds himself falling in love with the owner of a purse he finds, since the contents indicate that she is the girl of his dreams. Meanwhile, Eric studies for a test with the help of an invisible Mr. Feeny, while Jack wonders about Eric's sanity.

An eager Cory encourages Shawn to consider the same type of long-term relationship he has with Topanga - except that the two of them start not to get along so well. Meanwhile, Jack and Eric are nervous about hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the Matthews family at their new apartment.

Confident Cory is amazed when Shawn is more successful at their work-study jobs: Shawn proves to be a whiz at public relations, while Cory gets stuck in the mail room. Meanwhile, Amy goes back to college, but her participation in Eric's creative writing class embarrasses him with her extremely frank self-revelations.

Cory and Shawn are loco with jealousy when the girls get jobs at a Mexican restaurant and start dancing the night away with two handsome, suave co-workers. All the guys apologize to their women in a unique way in the end.

Cory wonders if he's being henpecked when Topanga spends the holidays with the Matthews family and takes charge of the festivities. Cory (Ben Savage) plans to surprise Topanga (Danielle Fishel), who's spending Christmas at his house, with a promise ring that means they'll be together forever. But he's unnerved by moments of doubt after learning that he and Topanga - who have so much in common---have very different holiday traditions: she drinks cider rather than eggnog; she prefers a fresh-cut tree to an aluminum one; and she opens gifts on Christmas Eve, not in the morning. When it seems Topanga's unwilling to compromise, Cory has serious misgivings about the ring - and their future.

Cory gets so upset that Alan engages only in conversation with him, but plays sports with Eric, that he knocks Alan down. So Alan and Eric kidnap Cory and take him sky diving. Afterward, Cory feels better, but now Eric's miffed that he and his dad rarely have meaningful chats.

Upset that the seniors are slacking off, Mr. Feeny threatens to issue F's and assigns personal goals to Shawn, Topanga and Cory: Shawn is to find two tickets to the Superbowl, Cory is to help him, and Topanga is to refrain from interfering. Meanwhile, Eric and Jack search for soul mates.

When Cory sprains his ankle during the Senior Class ski trip, he can't let on to Topanga that he feels attracted to the young lady who's been assigned to take care of him.

It's Valentine's Day, and Shawn's jilted exes are so sure he'll ruin his date with Angela that they kidnap him to keep him from hurting her. Meanwhile, Cory's in trouble after Topanga reads a letter to him from another girl.

Cory is torn between making up with Topanga, or allowing himself to see how it would be to go out with the girl he met during the Senior Class ski trip. Meanwhile, Feeny entrusts Eric to be a substitute teacher for Feeny's Citizenship class.

A fun and frenzied spoof of the movie Scream finds a shrouded killer terrorizing the teens. The mystery begins when the gang is locked inside the school during detention. Before too long they receive an ominous message written in blood, and a classmate is fatally punctured with a pencil. They have to try to find out who is behind the killings and get out alive.

Cory tries to get over his estrangement from Topanga by drinking alcohol at a party, but there's more trouble in store after Cory convinces Shawn to drink too. Later that day, Cory and Shawn are arrested, and vow that they will never drink again. Cory keeps his promise; Shawn doesn't. Shawn has some choices to make.

After a surprisingly superb Shakespearean acting debut, Eric is invited to study at two prestigious theatrical institutions-but instead he opts to join the hit TV sitcom Kid Gets Acquainted with the Universe. Jack and Shawn are sick with chicken pox, and Topanga nurses them back to health despite Shawn's discomfort being around her.

When Topanga goes to an art exhibit with Angela instead of Cory, she meets a nice, charming and sensitive guy that threatens to break-up Cory and Topanga forever.

A reconciled Cory and Topanga pretend to be estranged so Shawn can be the one to "reunite" them, despite Mr. Feeny's warning that they are "boarding the train of terrible mistakes". Shawn's mediation tactics lead to more turmoil for the duo: when he encourages them to be open about their hurt feelings, they insult each other and break up again. It's finally up to Shawn (with an assist from Cory's parents) to set things straight once and for all. Also Eric has trouble figuring out his word-a-day calender.

When prom night rolls around, Cory and Shawn plans to leave as boys and come back as men. Although Angela decides she and Shawn aren't ready for sex, Topanga and Cory might have some trouble when Amy and Alan arrive at the same hotel they plan to stay at.

When the college acceptance letters finally arrive, Cory is angered greatly when Shawn decides to skip out and work as a photographers assistant, and it seems that none of his friends have the same plans for them as he does.

When Topanga actually does recieve an offer to attend Yale, Cory is not sure whether he should tell her his true feelings or lie to her.

Due to his fear of facing life again, Eric decides to stay at a small town, where he can live easy for the rest of his life. Meanwhile, Alan has doubts about having done something worthwhile with his life after he wins a company award.

As Cory is feeling insecure about his hair, Topanga shows him that appearance is meaningless, and she proves so by cutting off some of her own locks, a decision she quickly regrets.

Alan decides he needs a raise at work, however he decides to quit, sending the whole family swirling into chaos.

When Shawn's mother arrives back in town, Cory decides to re-unite his friend's family, while at the same time honor the memory of Brenda, the devoted cafeteria lady of the school lunchroom.

When Eric offends Corinna, a strange, nerdy girl who writes her own songs, she writes a song downgrading him, and she becomes famous. Meanwhile, Cory and Topanga fear that their differing views on children could affect their future together.

Verna presents Chet with an ultimatum to find work, or she will take off once again. This causes Chet to land the job of school janitor, utterly humiiating Shawn.

Eric says he attends Harvard in order to be on MTV's Singled Out. Meanwhile, Cory is afraid of "disapearing" while getting his tonsils taken out.

Shawn insists things aren't what they seem when Cory catches him with a girl, but Cory won't buy it.

Cory agrees to go to a wrestling match with a buddy on the same night as Topanga's Sweet 16 party.

Assigned a Thanksgiving weekend assignment to consider how class divisions between the haves and have-nots are at the heart of the conflict in Rwanda, Cory and Shawn hope the Thanksgiving spirit will encourage their families to be better friends, but having the holiday feast at the Hunters' trailer park home is not what the reluctant Matthews family had in mind. Nor, it turns out, does the situation sit well with the other trailer park residents. Meanwhile, Frankie's little brother Herman asks permission to court Morgan; and everyone winds up eating dinner at Frankie's table which "always has room for more."

Shawn is in a state of shock when his very beautiful, very haughty girlfriend, Jennifer, dumps him. She agrees to get back together on one condition: that Shawn has nothing to do with Cory ever again. This doesn't set well with either of them and the two friends begin seeing each other covertly to avoid Jennifer's wrath. Only the levelheaded Topanga has the insight to solve Cory and Shawn's dilemma. Meanwhile, Eric thinks he's onto a get-rich-quick scheme when he rents a theater for a one-man show he's written called Look at Me, Look at Me, and charges $30 a ticket. (Touchstone press release)

Comedy veterans Buddy Hackett and Soupy Sales play two businessmen of a shady sort who hire Cory and, subsequently, Shawn to run "errands" for them. Since it is just before Christmas, Cory decides he can use the money for his holiday shopping. However, Cory quits once he figures out that the two gents are not on the up-and-up. Shawn takes over, but Cory soon persuades his pal to quit as well, before he gets in over his head - or hit over the head. (Touchstone press release.)

Shawn, bent on proving to Feeny that he can make it in the business world, convinces Cory to turn Feeny's quaint home into a Bed & Breakfast Inn economics-class project while their unsuspecting teacher is out of town. Meanwhile, Eric and Feeny surprise each other when they end up better friends while on vacation at the same hotel - especially when Eric passes up a date with a female bartender to console Feeny over the failure of his long-term long distance romance.

Alan finds himself at a crossroads when Cory, armed with a new driver's license on his 16th birthday, would rather celebrate with Shawn and Topanga than with him.

The war between the sexes starts heating up at John Adams High when the boys realize that girls expect different things when out on a date. When it is suggested to Cory that his school newspaper column is a tad boring, Shawn gives him a story idea on dating and sexual harassment based on the book they're reading in Mr. Feeny's class: Black Like Me. After Cory emerges from the bathroom in full regalia, it is decided that Shawn would make a better girl: he's studied them much more carefully. Making his debut at school, Shawn, now Veronica Wasboyski, immediately gets asked out by Gary, one of the school's more well-known Lotharios. Shawn soon finds out what it's like to push off a teen boy's advances. Meanwhile, Eric tries to teach mountain-reared Lonnie how to get along with city men.

When Cory discovers the reason why his girlfriend, Topanga, and Shawn are acting like more than just friends - in fact, kissing - he must come to grips with an important change in his life. What's worse than the peck is the reason behind it: Topanga's moving away to Pittsburgh.

Cory feels uncomfortably domesticated, having been with Topanga for so long. So he misses a date with her to go to a school party with Shawn and the guys. However, Cory finds out that she is at the party, disguised as a French student.

Cory and Shawn befriend Frankie out of fear, but soon realize how selfish they are being when they start using the younger students, whom will do anything for Frankie.

Cory begins dating again, but he can't bring himself to kiss his date, Melissa, because he still has feelings for Topanga, who he finds is already locking lips with another guy.

When an accident involving a microwave transports Cory back to 1957, he is mistaken for a spy because of his knowledge of Russian space tactics.

Jonathan feels he is ready to assume legal guardianship of Shawn, but Shawn secretly longs to live with Chet.

Cory follows Topanga to Disneyworld to win her back, but she misinterprets his attempts, thinking they are meant towards another girl.

When Mr. Turner goes back on a promise not to give a test on The Grapes of Wrath, Cory and Shawn lead the class on a strike, getting themselves into more trouble than they realize. Meanwhile, Eric's girlfriend demands too much from him.

Cory is utterly surprised when he learns that he has been invited to a party by one of the school's most popular girls, Melissa, but Shawn hasn't. Meanwhile, Alan thinks he's getting old.

Misguided by a fortune-teller, Cory begins to believe that he is turning into a werewolf and will kill Topanga.

Cory and Topanga are paired up by Mr. Turner to work on a movie about sex for a school project, interviewing their friends and families on the subject. Rumors fly, however, when they fall asleep trying to pull an all-nighter finishing it.

While delivering revised reports to Mr. Turner's house, Cory and Shawn find his schedule, and feel guilty when they study for a pop quiz.

Cory realizes that the school year is nearly over, and that he doesn't have any extracurricular activities to list in the yearbook, so he joins the wrestling team.

When Shawn's mother runs away - with his and his father's trailer home, Shawn must stay at Cory's while his father hunts her down. This happens on career day, on which Cory is feeling embarrassed because he feels his Dad's job is too boring.

Shawn's dad leaves in search of his runaway wife, and Shawn moves in with Cory's family temporarily. Meanwhile, Eric is having trouble studying for his SATs.

Cory Matthews winds up with detention after trying to listen to a Phillies game in class, while his teacher, Mr. Feeny, is trying to teach the class the great value that love has in all of their lives. However, Cory doesn't find love and girls such a good thing when his older brother, Eric, takes a girl to a Phillies game instead of him. This prompts Cory to move into his treehouse.

Cory is worried about the class water gun war, as he has no heavy-duty water gun to compete with. However, he soon strikes up a deal with Mr. Feeny, who makes Cory a deal: if he paints Mr. Feeny's shutters, he will give Cory the money to buy a new water gun. However, Cory rushes in haste to buy the water gun, and he gets green paint all over the fence.

While Alan and Cory stay up late to watch a baseball game, Cory fails a test the next day at school, and Mr. Feeny refuses to let him make it up.

Cory becomes friends with his school's outcasts when he changes his hair and finds that the consequences are very fatal.

Cory is determined to be in the geography bee when he finds out that the winner gets to be bat-boy at the opening game of the world series. But, when he and Minkus trade places in the acedemic world, they end up trading places in the social world, too. Meanwhile, Eric is embarassed when his parents show up at the same concert as he and a date.

Cory is going to be shipped off to a "smart" school, after he and Shawn find the answers to an I.Q. test and Cory cheats, using those answers. He tries to play dumb when a representative from the school comes to interview him. Amy and Alan know that he cheated and act like he really is smart and that they want him to go to the school. Cory comes clean with them and Mr. Feeny and learns that cheating is not right.

Cory gives up fishing with his dad when his grandma comes to town and makes him some great promises. But he's disappointed when she doesn't come through for him and Alan goes fishing with Shawn instead. Meanwhile, Eric uses Morgan to get the attention of Feeny's attractive niece.

When Cory insists that teaching is easy in comparison to learning, Mr. Feeny agrees to temporarily switch roles on a bet, allowing Cory to handle social studies for one week.

Mr. Feeny has his class predict what their lives will be like by their class reunion. When he gives Cory an incomplete, Cory gives up on his dream of being a center fielder, until his dad realizes just what he needs. Meanwhile, Morgan trades her mother's gold necklace for a plastic one and has to get it back.

Chet, Shawn's father, loses his job, and Cory vows that Shawn will have a Christmas gift this year. Morgan is also traumatized when a shopping mall Santa suffers a heart attack as she gets onto his lap.

The father/son softball game is coming up and Cory and Eric don't want to play. They try to come up with a plan, but before they can Alan finds out how they feel. He tells them that the game was cancelled, but Cory finds out (from Topanga) that the game, in fact, was played. Cory and Eric feel bad and make amends with Alan, planning a make-up game for the following weekend.

Cory and Eric are convinced that Amy is having an affair when they find provacative clothing in her bowling bag, and do not open their mind up to any other possibility.

Cory's classmate Topanga develops a crush on Eric when he visits Mr. Feeny's class as a guest speaker.

Cory and Minkus are put on the Basketball B-Team for their school, which, subsequently, never gets to play.

Eric decides to quit his job at his father's store when he gets a modeling job at the mall. Alan wants to stop him, but Amy wants him to learn on his own. Meanwhile, Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Minkus have to pretend to be a family for a school project.

Cory and Shawn gamble on race horses and make a lot of money. But Cory realizes not every risk is worth it when he leaves Morgan home alone. Meanwhile, Cory's parents exchange Valentines. Also, Eric tries to get the attention of a girl.

Shawn is forced to stay in Cory's room, in secrecy, because of a cherry bomb prank gone wrong in Alan's grocery store mailbox, which keeps him from going home. Cory keeps it a secret the best he can, but Amy and Alan know something is up because Mr. Feeny saw Shawn climb up to Cory's window. They play along until Shawn leaves and Cory comes clean with them. Shawn finally comes clean and goes back home. Shawn and Cory both learn valuable lessons. Shawn learns that he is not forced to be a bad kid and can be on Cory's "side of the line."

When Cory and Shawn try and sneak an R-rated movie into the house while everyone will be out, their plans are in jeopardy when Mr. Feeny substitutes for their baby-sitter.

On Cory's birthday, Alan gives him a necklace with two silver boxing gloves on it, and Cory accidentally loses it. However, he'll regret that mistake when he finds out their true value.

Cory is cast to play Hamlet in the school production, but he quickly drops the role and it goes to Minkus, who, quite frankly, cannot act to save his life.

When Cory's class watches a film on puberty and how it can affect your emotions, Shawn gets his first date, and Cory's jealousy toward the subject.

When Cory wishes that Mr. Feeny could get sick so that his class won't have to take the exams, he ends up with more then he bargained for when Mr. Feeny ends up in the hospital.
