Riley Parra
Riley Parra is a good cop in a corrupt department who discovers a war between angels and demons is being waged in her city. Both sides have chosen mortal champions, and Riley is the only chance the Good side has of winning.
Riley and Gillian wake up to their first morning together. Riley heads into work to meet her new partner Caitlin Priest. They are immediately called to a crime scene.
Gail Finney, the journalist who torments the department, makes her presence known. Riley and Caitlin interview the dead man's doorman Paddy.
Riley comes home to the unwanted visitor, Marchosias. Gillian returns to Riley's apartment and they continue to grow closer.
Gail continues to rant against the police department and this time includes Riley. Muse gives Riley a tip off to where a suspect can be found. Riley and Caitlin swoop in to save the day.
Riley and Caitlin have a much needed discussion. The suspect remembers something that helps Riley put together the pieces of the murder.
Riley re-introduces Gillian and Caitlin. Riley and Gail have a confrontation and Gillian reveals her "dirty little secret" to Riley.
Riley and Kara get called in on a new homicide case. The new Medical Examiner, Dr. Hunt, finds something odd about the body.
Riley tells Kara about a past experience with the deceased. Riley is visited by a stranger who shakes her world with news about her past and present and potential future.
Riley and Lt. Hathaway clash just before Riley and Kara have an out of the office meeting about the case.
Riley is searching for answers and finally finds what or who she was seeking.
Riley comes face to face with the head of the demons. After the encounter, she calls Gillian for help.
Riley believes she has the answer to who started the war and who killed Ridwan.
