Mo Dao Zu Shi (Audio Drama)
The audio drama (广播剧) is adapted from the original novel by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. Produced by Polar Penguin Studios, its sole broadcast is on the Chinese audio streaming website MissEvans.com (猫耳FM).
A cultivator named Yi Weichun emerges from the crowd, displaying the leg he lost in the bloodbath of Nightless City. He proclaims that he is here today to avenge his leg.
Jiang Yanli interrupts. She diplomatically requests that Wei Wuxian stand behind her, before apologizing to Jin Zixun if Wei Wuxian has broken any rules. Although Wei Wuxian protests, Jin Zixun is delighted by this.
Wen Qing begs Wei Wuxian to save Wen Ning, who has been taken captive by Jin Zixun.
Cultivators gather at Carp Tower to discuss Wei Wuxian's actions. Jin Guangyao reports that four inspectors were killed, and about fifty remnants of the Qishan Wen Sect escaped. Wei Wuxian has taken them to the Burial Mounds and summoned many Fierce Corpses to defend them.
Jiang Cheng declares Wei Wuxian a defector from the Yunmeng Jiang Sect.
In Yiling, passersby gossip about Wei Wuxian's resurrection of Wen Ning and the upcoming marriage of Jiang Yanli.
Jin Guangshan reacts with shock and horror upon learning that his son Jin Zixuan was killed by Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning at Qiongqi Path.
A cultivator reminds Wei Wuxian that he may have many people during the Bloodbath of Nightless City, but he perished three months later after his own Fierce Corpses and Ghosts attacked him.
Fang Mengchen attacks Wei Wuxian, insisting that he cannot forget that Wei Wuxian killed his parents. Jin Ling attempts to draw his sword, but a cultivator stops him.
Jiang Cheng sneers at Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's lack of decorum in leaving the meeting. He announces that he will look for them while dinner is served. Meanwhile, Wei Wuxian shows Lan Wangji around Lotus Pier. Lan Wangji purchases biscuits for the two to eat, and Wei Wuxian laments that he always finds himself unable to treat Lan Wangji.
Lan Wangji attempts to give Wei Wuxian spiritual energy, but Wei Wuxian tells him to save it for himself. He explains that the reason he wishes to go to Yunping City is that he saw a title deed for land there hidden amongst his own old manuscripts in the treasure vault at Carp Tower.
Wei Wuxian begs Lan Wangji to stop biting his finger. He does, though he promptly stabs the floor with Bichen. Wei Wuxian scolds him with delight while hiding the hole with a cushion. Lan Wangji hands Wei Wuxian his money bag to "pay," but when Wei Wuxian declares himself rich, Lan Wangji immediately snatches it back. They stare at each other, and Wei Wuxian suggests they play another game.
Wen Ning and Wei Wuxian notice a spiritual barrier hiding bustling activity in the Guanyin Temple. In the middle of the courtyard stands Lan Xichen, surrounded by members of the Lanling Jin Sect.
Jin Ling is relieved to see Jiang Cheng, but Wei Wuxian soon panics when Fairy enters as well. Lan Wangji holds the terrified Wei Wuxian tight. Jin Guangyao invites Jiang Cheng to talk, and Jiang Cheng responds with Zidian. As Fairy attacks the Jin cultivators, Jin Ling orders the dog to flee, lest she be killed.
Wei Wuxian has evidently used Demonic Cultivation to break the Suppression Array inside the Guanyin Temple. Unfortunately, this results in the release of many naked, writhing Ghosts engaging in sexual activities amidst fire.
Jin Guangyao begins to shake with fear at the growls of Nie Mingjue. Wei Wuxian tells Lan Wangji to save Jin Ling, who is in danger of being accidentally beheaded in Jin Guangyao's panic. Lan Wangji then severs Jin Guangyao's hand to free Jin Ling.
Lan Wangji tells Wei Wuxian that there is something he has not told him. Just then, Lan Sizhui and Wen Ning arrive, and, to Wei Wuxian's astonishment, Lan Sizhui recalls his identity as Wen Yuan. They have a tearful reunion, and Lan Wangji admits that this is what he had to tell him: he rescued Wen Yuan from the Burial Mounds, and took him to live as a member of the Gusu Lan Sect.
A-Qing's first encounter with Xiao Xingchen and Xue Yang, and the few years they spent together before Song Lan's arrival.
Tragedy strikes when Xue Yang indirectly kills Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen learns the truth about whom he has been living with.
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji attempt to stop Xue Yang once and for all. In the aftermath, a funeral is held before the duo share a drink.
Lan Wangji gets drunk a second time. Wei Wuxian learns the meaning behind the Lan Sect's forehead ribbon.
Wei Wuxian deduces the identity of the dismembered corpse. He and Lan Wangji head to Carp Tower to get some more clues.
Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao's history is revealed.
During the Sunshot Campaign, Nie Mingjue is captured by the Wens, but Jin Guangyao reveals himself as a spy to save his life. They become sworn brothers with Lan Xichen.
Nie Mingjue's saber spirit becomes more uncontrollable, and his relationships with Jin Guangyao and Nie Huaisang deteriorate until his untimely death
Wei Wuxian narrowly escapes from Jin Guangyao, but not before Jin Guangyao manages to reveal Wei Wuxian's true identity to the public.
The Wen Sect's indoctrination begins, and the abused cultivators are taken to Dusk Creek Mountain in search of an ancient monster.
Wounded and trapped in a cave with the Tortoise of Slaughter, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji must kill the creature to find a way out.
Wei Wuxian is saved and taken back to Lotus Pier, where he finds that the divides within the Jiang Sect and between the Jiang and the Wen Sects are both reaching the tipping point.
Lotus Pier falls, and Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng struggle to survive.

Wei Wuxian finds out what Lan Wangji is like when drunk. The next day, they are lead to Yi City, and encounter some familiar faces.
Wei Wuxian and the junior disciples find shelter in a shop. While checking outside, they see two interesting figures.
Wei Wuxian shelters a wounded swordsman, who turns out to be Xue Yang disguised as Xiao Xingchen. Lan Wangji fights Xue Yang, while Wei Wuxian and the juniors follow a ghost girl.
"No" is an extra episode from Season 1 of the audio drama. As Wei Wuxian and Lil'Apple are taken back to the Cloud Recesses, Wei Wuxian attempts to pester Lan Wangji with question after question, hoping that he will be released if he annoys Lan Wangji enough. The answer to every question is "No."
