Mann & Wife
"Mann & Wife" is a new original Bounce TV series starring David and Tamela Mann as newlyweds Daniel and Toni Mann. The show revolves around the newly married couple and their blended family, each with two children from previous marriages. Daniel, a police officer from Atlanta, and Toni, a school teacher from Dallas, along with their kids all move into Daniel's house in the Atlanta suburbs and have to adjust to their new lives together.
The new Lieutenant arrives at the precinct, and everyone soon learns that she and Hobbs have a romantic past. A cable installer confuses Toni for singer, Tamela Mann.
Toni faces a moral dilemma when the administrators at her school decide to change the students' standardized test results. Hobbs' mother brings her new, much younger fiance for a visit.
The Manns' cousin Barry comes for a visit and goes undercover to help break up a crime ring. Rival detectives compete with Hobbs and Mann to solve the cold case.
When his parents go out of town, DJ rents a room out to an elderly party animal. Hobbs and the Lieutenant pretend to be in a relationship when she tries to outshine her recently-engaged sister.
Poppa Bo comes to visit and teaches Tasha to fight, getting her into trouble at school and home. When Daniel accidentally leaks private information to the whole police precinct, the Lieutenant comes under fire.
The Manns give Terri money for her winning business idea, but her management style is less successful. A young man shows up at the precinct, claiming to be Hobbs' son.
The family plays into Daniel's health hysteria in order to get him to visit his doctor. Lieutenant Tate and Hobbs use a social media "expert" to help them solve a string of thefts.
When drugs are found at Toni's school, everyone sees DJ as a suspect. Hobbs and Mann go undercover at the school to catch the criminal.
Toni takes DJ and Terri to a robotics competition but she accidentally ruins Terri's chances at victory. Daniel does a horrible job watching the kids and the house on his own.
Struggling to solve a tough case, an exhausted Daniel falls asleep and wakes up in a 70s blaxploitation cop show.
Daniel and Toni return from their honeymoon and have to navigate their blended families living together. DJ is stunned when Toni is his substitute teacher. Meanwhile, Daniel meets his new partner when he returns to the station.
After the family falls sick, DJ's class assignment to care for an automated doll is left in the hands of Daniel. Lorraine substitutes for Toni's class and almost costs Toni her job.
After a series of unfortunate events occur from chasing a suspect, Daniel and Michael are forced to attend communication therapy. The kids fight for equal rights of their household chores.
Daniel's ex-wife, Michelle, comes to visit and the family is anxious for her arrival. Michael's girlfriend has Daniel worried that she is more than just a pretty face.
When Daniel's brother, Lionel, makes a surprise visit, sibling rivalry takes over the Mann household. Toni tries to improve the school dress code, but upsets DJ in the process.
Toni wants to join a new church, which frustrates Lorraine, and starts a tug of war with the family. DJ has tryouts at school, but Daniel is way too aggressive with his enthusiasm.
When the family learns that a criminal Daniel put away years ago has been released, everyone is concerned with his safety. Toni tries to bond with DJ through video gaming and learns a valuable lesson.
Daniel is hired as a bodyguard for a celebrity singer, who drives the family crazy. Terri becomes friends with the mean girls at school but soon learns the value of real friendship.
Toni's mom, Carol, visits and clashes with Lorraine. Daniel is working on a case that may prevent him from going to Terri's father-daughter dance.
Daniel and Michael go undercover to catch an art thief. Michelle visits and is excited to help DJ with a school assignment, but has a hard time convincing DJ she's up for the job.
