Together with her father, who had quit his salaryman job, Toyokawa Himeno moves to Gifu prefecture's Tajimi city. That's the city where her mother is from, whom she had lost when she was still young. Himeno is now attending her mother's alma mater, where her classmate Kukuri Mika invites her to tag along to a special place. That place turns out to be the pottery club! There, she learns for the first time that her mother was a legendary potter, and is consequently pulled into the world of pottery.

With the Mino ware contest under her belt, Himeno finally feels like she's arrived at the starting line for the path of pottery. While she is talking to her friends from the pottery club about the next, even more wonderful thing to make, a visitor with a typhoon-like energy bursts into their club room...

While cleaning her room, Himeno discovers a New Year's greeting card she got from Naoko when they were kids. When she tries to get Naoko to explain the message on the card, somehow they end up going out to find Chinese bellflowers even though they're no longer in season?

Episode 3

On the way home, a girl from Mexico talks to Himano, Mika, and Nao. It turns out she's a pottery student who was so impressed by a certain piece of pottery, she travelled all the way to Japan just to see it. Which piece could that be?

Episode 4

Tajimi's hot summer break is here. Everyone's working hard in the club room, however, out of all of them, Mika is especially eager. Using the very last batch of the special Gotomaki Clay, after numerous failures, she finally finishes a masterpiece.

The preparations for the OriAca Festival are ramping up, giving the campus a different feel. The pottery club is also pushing ahead with their preparations for their exhibit. However, Himeno can't help but notice that Touko-senpai seems down and decides to...

Episode 6

As Himeno and the others are trying to get to the bottom of the mystery tool that Ximena found at her studio, Touko decides to give a pottery tool lesson in a quiz format. When she sees them all having fun figuring it out, she remembers how it was for her when she was little.

Episode 7

The day of the Ari Aca Festival. Aside from exhibiting and selling items for the pottery club, Himeno is helping her class when Tokishirou and Kusano come to visit. The two of them reminisce about old times and start talking about a hidden piece that has been passed down in the pottery club.

Episode 8

A big star from the Showa era comes to visit Touko's grandfather, Juubeh. Somehow, Touko and that person end up sitting at the pottery wheel together in front of her grandfather, who once taught this star pottery...

Episode 9

Juubeh invites Touko to walk around Eihouji temple, something they haven't done in years. While they are admiring the beautiful fall foliage, Juubeh finally reveals to her how he really feels, something he has been wanting to do forever, but couldn't.

Episode 10

After seeing the pieces Ximena finally finished, Himeno heads home. There Mami and Kusano add their support to Naoko, who's watching out for Himeno while she struggles to find something to put on the shelf.

Episode 11

Finally having found what she wants to make, Himeno does a 180 and dives headfirst into making pottery. Meanwhile, Toushirou keeps worrying that his suggestion to Himeno is torturing her because her behavior is so different...

Episode 12

It's finally time for the firing, meaning the pieces will be completed in just a little bit. Tokishirou is excited when he hears that Himeno might reveal the item she'll put onto the shelf. After all this waiting, what's the piece that Himeno unveils?!

Episode 1

On her first day in high school, Himeno introduces herself to the class by lining up the mugs her late mother made. Her classmate Mika knows her mothers works, so she takes her to the pottery club. Taken in by the smell of the clay she shouldn't know yet, Himeno goes in for her first attempt at pottery.

Episode 2

After joining the pottery club, Himeno is uncertain if she can make pottery. Touko and Mika then show the novice Himeno that pottery and ceramics are widely used in all sorts of manners all over town. She realizes that pottery is not that forbidding, and that she's always surrounded by it!

Episode 3

While Himeno is engrossed in pottery, Touko yells at Mika for loudly playing with Naoko. Mika then rushes out of the clubhouse, and in her absence, Touko confesses that she admires Mika for having such a free-spirited imagination, something she herself lacks...

Episode 4

Himeno accidentally broke her dad's favorite rice bowl. She decides that she "will make a perfect bowl for dad!" and begins her work. With the help of Touko and the others she manages to complete her project, but for some reason Himeno doesn't look so happy...

Episode 5

All done with their mock exams, the Himeno-Naoko-Mika trio spot their pottery club advisor Mami by the train station and impulsively decide to tail her. They pass through a forest, walk by a lake and finally reach a mountain. Where exactly is Mami going?!

Episode 6

The members of the pottery club start preparing for the Mino ware contest. Himeno is still agonizing about what to make when the club advisor Mami asks her to help in an old school building. On the way there, beckoned by a strange tune the wind was playing, Himeno discovers a huge ceramic monument...

Episode 7

Himeno still doesn't have a good idea what to make for the contest. When she asks her father, Tokishirou, he gives her the following advice: "I don't know what it is, but I just want to create something! That feeling is important." After hearing that, Himeno gets an idea. What will it be?

Episode 8

The hot, hot summer of Tajimi has arrived, and Himeno, Mika, Naoko, and Touko have a blast in the river trying to catch eel! Then suddenly a kappa appears before them and takes them down to Ryūgū-jō. Inside Ryūgū-jō, a certain person in the form of their high school self is awaiting them...

Episode 9

Now that she had the idea of making a ceramic cushion, Himeno's head is completely occupied with the topic. Flustered by the looming deadline of the contest, she has an eureka moment for making the perfect cushion while braiding Mika's hair. How will that ceramic cushion turn out?

Episode 10

Now that Himeno settled on the shape of the cushion, she now has to pick the color. However, the vast number of colors overwhelms her and she gets stuck. Seeing that, Naoko grabs Himeno and takes her to a special spot...

Episode 11

Having submitted her piece, Himeno is filled with relief, albeit only for a brief moment: remembering Tokishirou's reaction to the chazuke bowl, she can't stop thinking about the judges' decisions because she wants to have another chance at truly filling her father's heart with joy. Today's finally the day. After being impressed by all the creative pieces, it's finally time for the award ceremony of the contest...

Episode 12

In order to make her father, Tokishirou, happy, Himeno hopes that she can win some sort of prize. What's the result of the contest?! On a later day, Himeno and her friends have a celebration for the contest. Meanwhile, Tokishirou, who had snuck out, couldn't resist sitting on Himeno's ceramic cushion and then...

Live Action #1

The four voice actresses go to Let's Make a Mug Too's stage, Gifu prefectures Tajimi City. While strolling through the town where Himeno lives, they talk about their memories with their own fathers.

Live Action #2

The first hands-on pottery experience in Tajimi is to make mugs. Not used to the electric pottery wheel, they struggle, but in the end produce pieces sparkling with personality.

Tiles are also a Tajimi specialty. Accessories are also made with these tiles. The four quietly focus on the detail work that reveals their individual character traits.

Our group of four visit a high school pottery club and are in awe of the works that the students have made. They also share stories from their time in school. At the end, they encounter the works of a living national treasure.

A trip to the museum reveals a variety of mosaic art, followed up by a traditional Japanese candy store with colorful treats and fun photo opportunities!

The four girls discuss weddings while enjoying the autumn leaves at the national treasure, Eihouji. Then, they relax at a cafe beloved by the people of Gifu.

Using the "hand-building" technique, the girls attempt to make freestyle flatware. While they all feel the difficulties of making pottery, their individual personalities are clearly reflected in their creations.

We eat our way through Tajimi's gourmet dishes! Soul food "gohei mochi". Incredible udon at a "shinise" business. And then the long awaited eel bowl!

Today the plates that were made with the hand-building technique are being painted! While Tanaka, Wakai, Honizumi are making steady progress, Serizawa is still agonizing. How will the plates turn out?

Live Action #11

The four make curry! The curry made with the best Gifu prefecture ingredients are plated on the finished plates. Not having a lot of cooking experience, Tanaka has a bit of a mishap!

Reminiscing while enjoying the homemade curry. What was the thing in Tajimi, the city with the hot temperatures and warm hearts, that left the biggest impression on our four ladies?

The four voice actresses for "Let's Make a Mug Too" have come to the anime's location again, Gifu prefecture's Tajimi city. They set out to discover the many many "Let's Make a Mug Too" sights in town!

The quartet goes to a mining pit to learn about clay and see how hard the work is! Then, they visit the place that was the model for the pottery club room!

From the living national treasures who were born in Tajimi, to the future greats of pottery, the four voice actresses see and are inspired by various pieces! Will they seriously pursue becoming pottery voice actresses now?!

A truly unique piece of pottery. During the sketching phase, everybody's personality comes out! And then there's great excitement over seeing pottery tools for the first time!

Shaved ice, goheimochi, and all the fun stalls are the perfect way to lead up to a summer festival discussion about love!

It's finally time to give shape to the truly unique piece of pottery! As a reward for being so devoted to their pottery craft, the four get a selection of Tajimi sweets!

After tirelessly working with the clay, the four finally finish their very individualistic shapes. Which emotions did they each pour into their pieces?

The pottery making got to a good place. Time for a barbecue surrounded by Tajimi's beautiful nature! After enjoying Gifu's specialty "kei-chan", everybody's re-energized!

For the truly unique piece of pottery, the color should be special too! The four learn how deep the topic of glazes is. And then they smack their lips at authentic pizza baked in a stone kiln.

"We won't know until we open it!" We open the kiln and finally get to see the bisque fired pieces! Impressed by how they look, the four take on the glazing challenge!

Enjoying of the cafe's delicacies and the talks. Including the intense bowling showdown, the four really enjoyed a truly "after school" time.

The truly unique pottery pieces are complete! Then, at the end of the journey, it's time to revisit Oribe Street. What do we see there?
