The drama follows Asakura who is training to be a nurse and believes that nursing is the only profession for her, even after repeated failures.
Episode takes place in Wakabakai General Hospital one year after Izumi became a nurse. Shoko and Sawada get married in this special. In addition, Maho Nakahara has returned for the first time in half a year.
The married couple Asakura Izumi and Takasugi Kentaro provide consultation to island residents at a clinic situated on a hill overlooking the sea. The two of them who met at Wakabakai General Hospital as nurse and doctor, got married and started a clinic in the hometown of Kentaro’s late mother. 12 years have gone by.
Izumi and Shoko are overjoyed to meet again after a long time and in a gleeful mood at the harbour. That night, Izumi tells Shoko about an insecurity.
