After getting the divorce she wanted, Soo Hyun devoted her life into making her hotel successful. It was so successful that she earned the chance to open a branch in Cuba. After attending the opening ceremony, she visits Malecon Beach and has a magical encounter.

Upon his arrival, Jin Hyuk gets a surprising phone call telling him that he got the job at Donghwa Hotel. He is perplexed by the fact that the woman he spent a romantic day with in Cuba is actually the CEO of the hotel. On Jin Hyuk’s first day at work, he meets Soo Hyun again.

With the opening ceremony coming up for the hotel in Sokcho, everybody is busy with work. Soo Hyun is surrounded by enemies, but that makes her feel even closer to Jin Hyuk. At the hotel opening ceremony, Soo Hyun witnesses Hwa Jin giving Jin Hyuk a hard time.

Even after Soo Hyun's confession at the press conference in Sokcho that shocked the public, Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk continue to date. However, by Chairwoman Kim's order, Jin Hyuk is told to be transferred to a local branch in Sokcho. He argues that being relocated due to his relationship with Soo Hyun is unfair.

Meanwhile, Donghwa Hotel’s year-end party is held as planned. Myung Sik and Sun Joo plan to invite Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk who has been transferred to Sokcho without telling the two of them so that the young couple has a surprise reunion at the party.

Jin Hyuk and Soo Hyun spend a magical night together on New Year’s Day. However, they become the target of gossip once again after making the headlines. Aware of how Taegyeong will react, Soo Hyun decides to take them head on. However, both Jin Hyuk and Soo Hyun soon realize that they are about to face a big storm.

Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk reunite after a month passes. Jin Hyuk’s reputation within the office goes up and Soo Hyun feels proud of him, but she is soon faced with an imminent crisis when Jin Chul executes his plan to bring Soo Hyun down.

To everyone’s surprise, Soo Hyun shows up for dinner at Jin Hyuk’s house. The aftermath is severe and Chairwoman Kim orders Jin Chul to hold a board meeting so that she can bring Soo Hyun down from the CEO position. Soo Hyun decides to get to the bottom of the Cuban hotel incident.

Soo Hyun worries that she’ll end up hurting Jin Hyuk by continuing to see him, but at the same time, she doesn’t want things to end. Jin Myung gets in a fight when he hears his friend badmouthing his brother. After much thought, Soo Hyun makes up her mind.

In order to protect his daughter from Taegyeong, Congressman Cha makes a confession that will bring inevitable consequences. Jin Hyuk wishes to stay by Soo Hyun’s side and keep her safe, but Soo Hyun breaks up with him after much consideration. Jin Hyuk can’t let her go just yet.

Jin Hyuk tells his mother that he understands why she asked Soo Hyun to break up with him and that he loves her very much. Jin Hyuk comes to understand Soo Hyun and decides to wait for her. One day, Soo Hyun receives a gift from Jin Hyuk.
