Curro Jiménez
Curro Jiménez was a successful Spanish TV series that aired on TVE1 from 22 December 1976 to 1979. Its main theme was Andalusian "bandolerismo" in the 19th century, located in the Ronda mountains. The main characters were four bandits, Curro Jiménez
Dionisio, a distinguished official of the Court, arrives in Andalusia with his young wife to take over his new job, his head full of fantasies and adventures. His dreams will come true due to his great resemblance to Curro Jiménez.
El Algarrobo finds a kidnapped girl in a gypsy camp and rescues her by becoming fond of her as if without wanting to leave her.
El Algarrobo's niece is going to marry a rich young man, so a comedy has to be staged for the groom's family. El Algarrobo becomes the Indiano uncle, El Estudiante makes the bride fall in love and Curro takes advantage of the farce to steal from a jewelry auction.
Curro appears dying and takes refuge in the house of a mother and daughter who take care of him. He has lost his memory and does not know who he is, but there are those who recognize him and seek the reward.

At the doctor's request, Curro Jimenez must intervene to teach a lesson to his imitator and to a young miner who accompanies him in his adventure.
Curro and his men act on this occasion directly in Cordoba capital. There they carry out their robberies, get involved in the liberation of some prisoners and carry out amorous conquests. The Indian governor wants to make the bandits understand that he is the only one in charge of Cordoba.
A Scottish nobleman condemned to death chooses to die drowned in a barrel of sherry wine of a special vintage. As the winemaker refuses to sell the wine, an English lord hires Curro Jiménez to provide it.

Antonio Navajo is the chief of smugglers. A traitor tries to implicate him in the murder of two men from Curro Jiménez.
Curro Jiménez, Pedro Higueras and Víctor Areco, leaders of three groups of bandits from the Andalusian mountains, interview each other, at the request of the second. The meeting is held on neutral ground and each attends with three of his gang.
The usurer Anselmo García has kicked the Countess of Alloro out of his farmhouse, and refuses to give him money for his jewelry, so the Countess offers his daughter to marry him.
Curro Jimenez receives a letter informing him that a former member of his gang is in serious danger. Curro sets out on the journey remembering how he met his friend and the struggles they had against the French.
A dying man confesses to the priest the possession of half of a map that indicates the place of a shipment of gold. Many want to get hold of him
The latest attacks by bandits on the stagecoaches transporting French travelers, make the invading army suspect that there is a spy among the people driving them. The French set a trap and everyone involved falls into it.
