Together, We Shall Die
Setting off from the Istanbul Archaeological Museum and reaching the Galata Tower, the camera introduces us to the anguished character of the movie's protagonist, Mazhar. Mazhar begins to tell us his story. The pain of the love he lived and still cannot forget... We go back to the beginning of the story and witness Mazhar's meeting with Ece, the lover of one of his closest friends. We watch them fall in love with each other despite everything and everyone. We are as happy as Istanbul for their stories, which take place in the days when Istanbul still warms our hearts. Directed by Melik Saraçoğlu and Hakkı Kurtuluş after the Light of My Eyes, We Will Die Together tells the story of a broken love in which Istanbul has become one of its heroes.
