Dealing as "The Last Clock" with "The Tell-Tale Heart" by E.A.Poe, building a larger story around it: At a London market in 1829, a young man asks several people for the address of the clockmaker Thorbor. The crippled boy Tommy finally offers to take him to the door of the desired address. There, the boy tells the young man about the bad reputation of the old, cranky man Thordbor. The young man introduces himself to the watchmaker as Sidney Thorbor, his nephew, whom he hasn´tt seen since childhood and begins working as his assistant, in exchange for catering and lodging, but as the days go by he begins to experience strange things at night and increasingly becomes obsessed with the ticking of the many clocks in the shop, which leads him to murder.
