Seasons & Episodes

Satake is a recent hire in the Kyoto Sightseeing Section of a travel agency. Tired of busywork, he longs for the challenge of leading a tour, but is overwhelmed when his boss foists upon him a VIP tourist who's seemingly impossible to please.

Satake goes running to Kyoka and the other Central Management Center members for help when a client comes to Kyoto with his wife and daughter, only to find out that his "mistress" has also shown up.

Unbeknownst to her husband, a housewife in an unhappy marriage goes on a "breakup tour" in Kyoto hosted by a famous fortune teller and conducted by Satake. But the husband catches wind of his wife's plan to break up their marriage through supernatural means and tries to stop her, since he's still deeply in love with his wife. Kyoka agrees to help him by infiltrating the tour herself so she can find out the wife's side of it.

Kyoka's favorite actor comes to Kyoto, but his innocent image is nothing like the selfish jerk who verbally abuses Kyoka even as he relies on her services for a fan-and-paparazzi-free tour. And can Kyoka figure out his obsession with Kyoto's famous "maiko".

When Kawabata's ex-wife comes to Kyoto with her much-younger boyfriend, Kawabata wants to put the kibosh on their relationship before a marriage proposal is made, so he enlists everyone's help to concoct a tour designed to split them up. Will Kawabata then swoop in and reclaim his ex or will the longstanding lies of both men ruin their chances at happiness?

Satake is in trouble with the boss again when the spouse-hunting tour he's in charge of is a romantic bust thanks to the mood-killing antics of one of the participants. Unfortunately, the culprit is a repeat customer too, so Satake goes to Kyoka for help. Eventually, they realize that their troublemaking client isn't what he appears to be... and he's not alone!

Satake gets the first opportunity to create a tour plan from scratch for two clients, a father and daughter, but the challenge is the father is a blind curmudgeon. Nevertheless, the boss demands Satake get an A rating at the end or else he'll be transferred to the "disposal station" downstairs with Kyoka and the others. And speaking of which, Kyoka refuses to help out this time, making the demotion a likely prospect!

Satake is in charge of a small company's trip, but the day before, the president calls and demands the price be reduced to 5,000 yen a person! What secret is he hiding from his employees? Why has one of his workers suddenly become belligerent? And can Kyoka save the day with a cheap but satisfying tour?

The president of a major cosmetics company and her assistant come to Kyoto for an "eating tour", but Satake is disconcerted when she takes one bite of a dish and then insists on going to the next restaurant on the list... over and over, until Satake runs to Kyoka for help. As it turns out, the president is searching for something in particular, something personal and heart-rending.

Satake's friend from university and his girlfriend come to Kyoto and share the news that they plan to be wed soon, but they don't plan for the sudden appearance of his mother, a no-nonsense innkeeper who has no intention of letting her son marry his fiancee. When Kyoka sides with the mother, can Satake convince her that his friend's girlfriend (a young woman whom Satake was once in love with, too) is innkeeper material as well as a proper bride?

When the managing director from the Tokyo Head Office comes to Kyoto for a week, it seems preordained that heads are going to roll. Section Chief Miyata guides a tour to score points with the director, while making Satake pose as a guest to uncover (and butter up) the famous "masked blogger" whose travel review can make or break Sunset Tours.

Managing Director Sanada decides to shut down the Central Management Center, also Satake has to successfully accomplish one more tour to get his promotion.
