The Detectives
The Detectives is an American crime drama series which ran on ABC during its first two seasons, and on NBC during its third and final season. The series, starring motion picture star Robert Taylor, was produced by Four Star Television.
Holbrook finds Detective Sergeant Nelson engaged in a very un-policemanlike activity, he is reciting his own poetry at a beatnik coffee house.
Eleanor Curran overhears part of a telephone conversation between two men plotting a murder. She contacts the police, but Holbrook is stymied when she can't identify the men or their intended victim.
Matt and Chris are returning from a fishing trip via a small shuttle airline. They're jolted back to business when two gun-wielding thugs named Krom and Daniels take control of the plane.
Holbrook and his aides are assigned to investigate a murder involving a trio of safecrackers.
