On the Road With Austin & Santino is an American reality-documentary television series on Lifetime. The series debuted on July 29, 2010, following the season premier of Season 8 of Project Runway. The first thirteen episodes were transmitted after an episode of the eight season of Project Runway. The series has since been cancelled and was not renewed for a second season.
n the series opener, Project Runway alums Austin Scarlett and Santino Rice start on a road trip around the country, starting in Texas with a horse trick rider who needs a dress for the cowgirl ball.
Austin and Santino travel to Shreveport, Louisiana to help an Army captain who has served in Iraq as well as being a mother. She needs a new dress for her graduation party, celebrating receiving her masters degree.
In Antlers, Oklahoma the guys have to create a dress for a woman's 30th birthday.
The boys go to Malvern, Arkansas where they have to make dresses for a mother and daughter who are attending the annual Miss Brickfest Pageant.
Austin and Santino travel to Corbin, Kentucky to design a parade float outfit for Nicole Younger to wear in Corbin's annual Nibroc parade.
Austin and Santino create a dress for cancer survivor Marcy Gallagher of Asheville, North Carolina who's celebrating her 5th anniversary of cancer-free living.
Austin and Santino travel to Christiansburg, Virginia to design an outfit for policewoman Carla Cross who's celebrating her 5th wedding anniversary.
Austin and Santino journey to Black Mountain, North Carolina to design a dress for Nancy Brown's 4th annual Pawty, a benefit to support her wolf-dog rescue sanctuary.
